Vaz is 2-3 with a 5.73 ERA in day games.
Pineiro is 5-1 with a 2.76 ERA in day games.

Pineiro stinks on the road (3-4, 6.39), but he actually pitched a great game in the Bronx back in April and has been outstanding there throughout his entire career.

You have to go back to 2002, but in Pineiro's last five starts @NYY, he's had five quality outings, throwing 34 innings and allowing just 9 ER. Many of the stats don't apply to today's Pineiro, but the guy is obviously comfortable pitching there.

i like the angels here. I'll take pineiro over javy for that kind of juice. angels looked good last night against hughes, id like to see what they are capable against the weak spot in the yankees rotation.

also, the angels overall have been playing pretty good lately.
