Thanks Shari. I did indeed have a nice break but now ready to get stuck in for the Autumn. It's DET or no play in my book. Masterson is not good (even though he's been halfway decent lately). 6.68 road ERA, 5.76 night ERA. And Galarraga's had a pretty solid season at home (2-3, 3.63). I like taking home teams on Friday.

Most of the trends favor the Tigs, but did you know they've lost six straight vs. teams with a losing record? WTF is up with that? Also, before his perfect game against CLE, Galarraga had been awful in the past vs. the Tribe.

Not sure overall. That's a lot of chalk for, as we know, a pretty crappy team. I see you're on them pretty big. I doubt I'll play it, but BOL.

I'll say this too about the DET/CLE game paco (and I know you hate line movement in bases, so you'll probably dismiss it as nothing): I don't like the fact that the game opened at -135 and is now at -137, despite 97% of the public being on the Tigers.

The line also moved against the braves before first pitch. To me, baseball is a sport where line movement is the least valuable. In basketball it works great as LB has shown and it is also a good tool in football. In baseball it doesnt seem to matter as much

How are you going to IF bet, if they start at the same time??

EDIT: they dont start at the same time but tigers are at 4 and football is at 5. THey game wont be over still though to "IF"

Have you never placed an IF BET???

You would either bet IF-WIN or IF WIN/PUSH....maybe not at your book

All the bets and picks are placed before game 1 obviously!

Yep. I'd tend to agree however LB has been talking quite about line movement in his thread the last little while (pertaining to baseball) and has some interesting points to make. Definitely worth a read.

Give it some time to get the show in motion. It starts to get really goodby the 5th episode. After that, u'll be hooked.

Ya he's definitely the master of line movement. The best by far.
