It's normal actually.
i dont have number, but i think most of the time, when it comes to bases loaded, padres will come out with 0/1 run. I always hate bases loaded for them.

this is another case of Riggleman going to his bullpen too early...mark my words, this move is going to come back and bite the Nats. the guy just can't let his starters work themselves out of jams. does pulling Lannan here make sense to anyone?? they have a 2-run lead in the 6th and the DP is set up to end the inning. Just horrible managing. I've been watching this crap every game since the all-star break.

you can check the numbers, but i'm pretty sure their pen is in the top half of the NL. problem is, those stats were all made in the first half, when Capps and Clippard were lights out. since Capps is gone, there's no true closer and Clippard has been getting lit up like a Christmas tree...

in other words, Riggleman THINKS he still has the same good pen he had back in May. problem is, he can't read a fvcking calendar, because it's August and they suck. (except for Drew Storen, who is going to be a beast.)
