Right? The entire time I was watching that.. I was thinking "Wow.. Roy Nelson is a ******* barbarian". Man has a solid chin and a lot of heart. I wonder if he could ever get down to 205. He has very good BJJ, solid stand up and with that chin he would make an impact.

And I hope no one is pissed off with the MMA talk. It is past baseball time so I don't see any harm. For anyone that hasn't, check out MMA. For 3 hours once a month it is very good entertainment and you can bank some extra $ off parlaying a few baseball picks with two or three heavy mma favorites.

Dos Santos showed some weakness with his cardio. He has crisp standup but after the first round he kind of blew his load. No doubt his shots were nasty still, but you could tell he was getting tired. Of course, if you pound on a dude who won't go down for 15 minutes that happens.

Anyone else a fan of Fitch? I didn't like him for a while but his grinding style is starting to appeal to me. He doesn't put on exciting fights but he is VERY good at what he does. He can completely shut you down. Unless you're GSP. He also had VERY good value coming into this fight at +115. After Alves missed weight, this was a lock for Fitch. Easy money.

im a fitch fan...he is solid and i believe has won 22 of his last 23 fights or so

He took a bad beating from GSP. He is in a weird position. He is undisputed #2 at Welterweight but he is kind of destined to stay there behind GSP. Both of them are years ahead of the rest of the division. GSP is light years ahead though. I don't think Fitch is naturally athletic enough to match up against GSP and his explosiveness.

Eh, I liked Anderson. He lost to a few people outside of the UFC by submission. No doubt he has the most accurate striking in MMA. He is a monster standing; wrestlers are his weakpoint. Chael made a huge mistake there. Champions win so it is hard to argue. The beatdown Silva took though really takes away from the aura. He kind of rubs me the wrong way? I like to see good fights so that normally doesn't matter.. but his last few fights turned me against him. I'd just like to see a new face holding the crown.
