Hi everyone,
My spreadsheet template is based on one I found last year for NHL and NBA. All the data I entered myself. This is strictly a 3 and 4 game schedule only. There is no money management or anything else on this spreadsheet. If anyone wants to improve on this I'm all for it. Hope this helps. First attachment is the complete template. The second attachment has been updated through 4/10/10.

I added to it the system tracking spreadsheet that I posted a link to. Now it has the record keeping part.

I'm intrigued by this spreadsheet, looks like it has a good bankroll management system in there (although I look forward to what Rev has to say about it).

The one thing I think is particularly interesting are the units in there. It looks to me like the spreadsheet uses fixed bet amounts (or bet to win amounts?) whereas I think Rev makes his B bet to make up for the lost A bet plus desired profit. balls2wall or anyone else with more experience with these, which is the smarter/safer/better method (those may not all have the same answer)?

The White Sox , Cardinals,Phillies and Rays did get swept last year at home. Why are they on the list.

Who did they get swept by? I think that may have something to do with it. I think Rev would tell you it's important to take a critical look at each series and make sure your comfortable chasing it.

But the original thread said those teams didnt get swept the last 3 years, when actually they got swept last year.

I believe that the original thread said that betting the top 5 teams and fading the bottom 5 teams didn't lose. Those teams are not the same teams every year. We are still trying to figure out who they are.

Yeah, just use the betting amounts on the spreadsheet as a guideline. I even changed the values from 2% to 1% on mine since it was closer to my bet size. If you select the cell where it tells you the amount to bet it will show the formula in the formula bar at the top. Change the value at the end of the formula from .02 to whatever you want.

Make the bets according to this thread or whatever method you are using and not the spreadsheet (unless you want to).

Why do i spend hours a day reading complete, yes complete threads to try to better my skills and people just jump in whenever they want and want everyone else to do their homework! it's so frustrating to read the same questions that would never have to be asked if people would start at the beginning and do their own homework! Read the whole thread, it's easy!

I will be posting my picks for tomorrow in the next few minutes.

I will also be putting together an exhaustive post that will outline the 3 or so systems I will be playing this year as well as my money management program for each.

We went 13-0 during week 1. Lets keep that momentum going this week!

As the system calls for I am increasing my betting amount this week by this week by 50%. I think Stingy called for an increase after every 10 wins. I actually went 15-0 this week--I didn't want to increase my betting amount in mid week. My betting week ends on Sunday night, which works out nice with this system for baseball.

(A) Bet: Detroit (ML) 2.8 Units to Win 1.5 Units

(A) Bet: St. Louis (ML) 3.22 Units to Win 1.5 Units

(A) Bet: Philadelphia (-1 RL) 3 Units to Win 1.5 Units

(A) Bet: San Francisco (ML) 2.47 Units to Win 1.5 Units

(A) Bet: Atlanta (ML) 3 Units to Win 2 Units

I am waiting until tomorrow morning to list the prices I get these games at, but I have been asked by a number of you guys to get these plays posted earlier for those who don't have computer access during the working day. So, these 5 plays are official. Atlanta is the only team who is not playing at home, but I love all 3 pitching match-ups in this series for Atlanta, so I had to include them.

Great week 1 khaden! Stingy and I both worked through a few different betting progressions for this system, which began with increasing after 20 wins, but he decided to increase after 10 wins. I agree with you, I think it is best to wait until the current week is over to increase. I will be posting tomorrow about the various money management systems I will use for each system. I may have different Unit amounts for these series...

I want to also add that the Tampa Bay/Baltimore series was one that stuck out as well. I was hesitant to make it an official play and decided against it, but I may end up playing it for a smaller amount on the side. It will not be official, but I just wanted yall to know my thoughts on that series. I really see Garza getting the win tomorrow for the Rays in game 1.

I started out last week at 1/2 unit. For me, that was playing each series to win $50. This week will be $75 per series. This week looks like we should have between 12-15 series. So lets keep it rolling.
