thanks, IB! it's nice to be right, and my position on that game (tie FF for Cards = win for me) worked out well.

haven't capped Phils game, will take a look. ball should fly in Philly based upon weather. i know that our pal pacocn is on Phils, and he usually knows what's up with his Giants, so thinking i may need to get involved here. BOL today, my friend!

my model gets 4+ runs there and i think that it has a high ceiling. Phils offense obviously started the season like shit, but they've scored 4+ runs in 9 of their last 12 home games. over 3' is -110 at 5D. waiting to see lineup, may join you.

had been hoping that Utley and Howard would sit, but both actually have hit Vogelsong well in limited ABs. at the very least, both should feel relatively confident, which is a plus. and Vogelsong's always been bad on the road (career ERA .80 higher away than home: 4.87 vs 4.07). hmmm...

On road with family, so I can't write much but Phillies were very efficient yesterday scoring 5 stranding only 1 batter and Vogelsong got very lucky last outing only giving up 4 runs should have been 6/7.

Didn't have time to cap much today and didn't get to those games, but will say that the weather shouldn't hurt in either (ball should carry well both games). Timmons a moderate over guy for me; i'm neutral on Porter these days, but he's been leaning more over this season than last. One thing i will say is that if you like the Royals/Twins over, maybe go FF simply because of the bullpens (esp KC, but Twins have been much better since early struggles there). BOL whatever you decide.
