Well I'm not going to hold you to the ban, Lock, but I've always felt that a AAA club should still be able to win at least 65 times on the MLB level, so there's a six-game improvement for the DC's right there. Surely with the moves they have made this season they can find two more wins and get all the way up to 67 on the year.

Speaking of 67 wins, my beloeved Astros probably won't have many more than that

Willie...your astros need a real manager, that might help a little bit. My boy Carlos Lee is rotting down there...should have stayed with my Brewers.

Looks like Damon is going to sign with the Tigers for sure now. I'd figured he wouldn't sign with us and was hoping so, good to hear for sure though.

Braves are decline for another few years. Bobby Cox lost his mojo, tis time for him to go. Chipper Jones should be the manager/player.

Definitely agree that Bobby has lost it. He has been absolutely awful with the bullpen the last couple of years.

I think the Braves SP pitching will keep them in games, but they will struggle to score runs and close out the games they actually DO lead late...

I can agree that we'll struggle to score runs, which was the same problem we had last year, but I really don't think we'll have as much trouble closing out games we're winning as much as we have had in years past. As long as Saito and Wagner are able to stay healthy, we have a really solid bullpen. But that's a big question mark about Wagner staying healthy. Also have a very solid long-relief guy in Kris Medlen.

Most improved team in the NL East is the Nats they may beat the Mets out of 5th place this year

I really don't see the Nats getting out of the basement this year. I don't worry about them one bit though, so I really don't know how they improved. What'd they do this offseason to get better?

Nyjer morgan is a beast... coupled with dunn, zman , and FINALLY a breakout year for Dukes.
Pudge will help the staff even if he cant bat his weight!!

Marquis and Wang make that staf 5x better than it was (which isnt saying much)

Morgan is pretty sick, and Dukes can be good if he can stay out of jail. I expect Marquis and eventually Strassburg to do big things, but I don't think Wang is anything special. Definitely an upgrade over their old rotation though for sure.

Let me start of by saying that I have been a phillies fan my whole life. I really believe in the NL East that the Phils, Mets, Atlanta and even Florida can win that division. Only Washington has no shot. I really believe who ever stays the healthiest over the course of the season will win the division. Braves not as good as years past, but they are capable of winning it.

The braves should do well this year, mostly because of their pitching staff, and their offense has added glaus, cabrera, and hinske so a slight improvement? It'll be interesting to see if Jason Heyward makes the team, the rookie has been putting on a show down there in spring training so far.

We basically lost our ace in Vasquez and the 8th and 9th inning pitchers. The new guys to close are almost 40 years old. Three of the starters are approaching 40 years old and the two other young starters are coming from years where they never pitched that many innings in their careers before. Chipper is older and had a bad year last year, Glaus is coming from major surgery and he doesn't have Pujols batting ahead of him to get some pitches to hit and the outfield is the worst in the majors.
