this is a tough team to predict, cause while it's easy to come out and say oh they'll suck again or oh they will come out surging and then blow it at the end to the phillies, thats in the past its a new season and remember this team was in 1st place last year before the training staff taught a lesson on "How to ensure you will be out for the season" to there all-stars and since then they have lost Delgado (i dont think there resigning him) and gained Jason Bay who has experience on a winning ball club, which not many mets can say, so i have some hope and we will have to see how they do. But no matter what i say everybody will continue to bash them.

I like Jason Bay, while he probably wont hit 35 homers again at Citi Field, he will hit many when the play the phillies though, i believe his doubles will increase by a lot and his average should go up too from the spacious citi field and he adds protection to the lineup for wright i can see him hitting .280-25 homers -105 RBI. I can only hope that they will be in the playoff race this season.Comment -

well today really showed me how bad of a GM minaya is. Lets see to he : Watched Oliver Perez and Johan Santana throw 20 pitches each down in a "mini camp" meanwhile, Ben Sheets gets signed by the A's and the player they said was a safe innings eater who they would like to sign Jon Garland, gets signed by the Padres. So now there left with Washburn, Bedard, Smoltz to chose from! wow great looks like there sticking with johan and 4 question marks in the rotation.Comment -
Bay was a bad pick up for the mets his power is going to
go bye bye in citi. He is also a a sub par fielder and will get
