#8303Hey DANRMAN, dont beat yourself over it, as a matter of fact according to Yahoo Sports "Ohlendorf left Monday's start against the Cardinals after facing just two batters due to an apparent right shoulder injury, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Dejan Kovacevic reports." soit wasnt bad capping as much as it was bad luck on the pitcher getting hurt...so smile!! lol!Comment -

#8308TA or anyone else, can you recommend a cash out strategy that gets money cashed out while still allowing the bankroll to continue increasing?Comment -

#8313If you're winning and your roll is growing, why do you feel the need to w/d? To me, let your cash stay where it is and have the self control to not wager over your head (stay in control). Once your roll has increased a certain percentage, you then have the option of increasing your unit. Provided one keeps winning at an above average rate, their roll continues to increase and at some point in time you'll be able to wager without as much concern/worry. When you get to that point, things will become clearer. If you really need/want to w/d, contact the book(s) on which method is best suited for yourself.
I have the self control, I've already gone through my days of ups and downs and stupid betting, now I grind.
Hope to achieve my goal some day. Even have the wife convinced to let me start adding money that was earmarked for retirement slowly into the accounts to try and build build and build some more.
All other investments suck, so why not bet on my ability to grow my rollsComment -

#8315I think the point to this would be to build your bankroll "investment" to garner both more security and more return. Of course you can withdraw whenever you feel the desire. I would assume most of our goals would be to get our bankroll to a certain amount and either keep it at that, withdrawing the run off... or continue to grow the investment. Personal choice.Comment -

I understand you position but if one is winning and wants to accumulate more wealth, wouldn't it make sense to leave the funds in place and watch them grow season after season. There is no right or wrong way to do this, it boils down to personal choice.
One of my goals in life, to build, increase unit, build, increase unit, build, increase unit, until I'm up with the big boys, playing with the books money.
I have the self control, I've already gone through my days of ups and downs and stupid betting, now I grind.

This makes sense to shoebox. Many options for people. One of my favorites is having the local cover walking around/expense money while letting on-line increase (overall) a little at a time.Comment -
