2 units on Colorado to score 1st
&
1 unit on CO/LAD to score in the first inning
Hope this helps!Comment -

Shit happens....buy yourself a drink, but don't go too far with it. If you messed up on step one and went too far, then don't pull a BUI (betting under the influence). Take a day off
on the games, and find out what went wrong. If you followed your system to the tee that works long term then you probably just had bad luck, and that is a guaranteed thing. Possibly the worst time to completely readjust things; however, it offers an excellent opportunity to learn a few new things. Best though in general to lay off the foundation.
**Not saying I haven't drilled myself into the hole in the past; when you are young you can justify recklessness with having a lot of time left on earth; however, eventually that needs to be corrected. Still working on it myself
As always, I know TA will come out of this fine, and is still the hottest cash around...don't forget that. Pay attention to how a pro handles things guys.

#8097here here
First time I post, but have been tailing TA for months and although I know I dont have to defend him, I will say this: Let's get over these last two Cardinal letdowns and FOCUS on the rest of today, the rest of the week and so forth...as TA has said many, many times "The past is the past and we can not change it" and "Move forward as there are always more games/action later or the next day". I was burned as much as the next person, but its over and we move on...
Thanks TA for posting your plays, it is much appreciated and I apologize for this long time overdue appreciation post.
two cardinal losses very devastating but over the long haul we will get it back. we have profited recently and we will again. it may/will take some time but we'll get there. TA will show the way....starting with Thursday.
let's minimize losses this week and go from there....stick together in the thread.Comment -

#8099A play is a play is a play. It happened to some of us with Texas last month and again with STL today. So now we know the Cards are still a**holes. I walked out of the book this morning with more than I gave them yesterday. Tommorrow I give some back with the same amount of certainty that I will prevail. Yea it's a "bad beat", but those happen sometimes, just make sure you're prepared for the long haul and can withstand some of these, cause it's pretty certain you'll get it all back in spades if you stay with it, filter out the BS and hype and keep learning that this is all part of the process. And if you look hard enough, there is plenty of success to be had in here each and every day. Money can't buy what some of the people in this and other threads are freely giving - experience, a free exchange of ideas on a common theme, and fellowship. Gonna enjoy getting it all back and then some.Comment -

#8102Are you kidding, JR007? If you guaranteed me that every season in MLB I would be up 139 units at the end of the season I'd take it in a heartbeat. If you're using $100 units you're talking a return of just under 14 grand. If that's the case then something TA's doing must be right.Comment -

#8103We have lost a couple of huge favs this season but even after this the record is still amazing. if you tailed from day one you should be way up. Unfortunately, for some of us (including myself) the tailing has started at some point of the season and then those huge losses will take their toll.
Anayway I am certain that even after such terrible days the system will bounce back big time as it has many times before.

#8104With you there TA. A bloodbath WILL at some point happen to all of us. So it is worth going over a few points here. Had a big loser myself today so I'll post up and you can add some words of wisdom to it 'cause I know you've been here before, and have safely come out of it. How do we do it?
Shit happens....buy yourself a drink, but don't go too far with it. If you messed up on step one and went too far, then don't pull a BUI (betting under the influence). Take a day off

It happens now & then but under the guidelines of the process, we survive and move forward. Stick with works for you is the best advise I can give you.
BUI is one of the worst things a person can do, unless they have already capped the action and have it written down. It's one thing to have a pop or two during card play, races or a game but to getfaced is not to intelligent. How things are done here, you know seasonal adjustments aren't made until AFTER the season is complete and then after several seasons of back testing.
Thank you andthe remainder of the season.

Who cares if he's betting -400's all day long, if he's getting a good return, I don't understand how you can knock the system.
I think a lot of what you say is true but how can you argue with success, and success in sports betting is the BOTTOM LINE and his BOTTOM LINE is +139 units this year.Last edited by lovetobet; 08-19-10, 11:06 AM.Comment -

#8114There is no hate here, yes +139 units is good if you have a "revolving account" most due not...you either see your local when the week is over or reup when the money runs out.......FYI daily lineups get posted fairly close to game time...I neglected weather as another factor..rest of star players on getaway days ...you would have to constantly "tweak" this system daily. I suspect that this system is some type of power ratings system...(reflects the past rather than the present) read the "dunkel index" for the pros and cons...you lose 1,500 or 1,700..0 on one or two plays you have to string together a winning streak to break even......then you have greed factor when you win..."I am playing with their money ,double down etc....this system is not for the 50.00 ,100.00 bettor.....guys have lost marriages and homes chasing chalk......

#8119Here is JR007's quote,
There is no hate here, yes +139 units is good if you have a "revolving account" most due not...you either see your local when the week is over or reup when the money runs out.......FYI daily lineups get posted fairly close to game time...I neglected weather as another factor..rest of star players on getaway days ...you would have to constantly "tweak" this system daily. Again, you presume to know how the process works and the weight each factor has upon it when the truth of the matter is, you don't. Tell me, what percentage does a batter's last 3, 5, 10 and 25 at bats verses the pitcher he's facing today have? Or how about, the effect of ballpark conditions (sunny, partly cloudy, muggy, light rain, moderate downpour, wind from the east/west/south/north, etc) have on the filter? This is why/the proof you don't know how I do things, so stop trying to act like you do.
You're "brilliant" when you say this, "... .you lose 1,500 or 1,700..0 on one or two plays you have to string together a winning streak to break even. ..." Now I'm not the smartest person in the room, but isn't winning measured in dollar amounts and the more wins you get/have the higher your amount, generally speaking, is? Breaking even is not an option on this end - it's about grinding out profits for the season.
There is no greed on this end, sir. The process determines the selection type of action and amount of action. One thing I'll agree with you upon is that greed is a bad thing and will hurt punters rolls.
Are you trying to say people with a $50 or $100 unit aren't making money? As of now per this thread the $100 punter in up nearly $14,000 while the $50 player is up about $7,000. What you fail to realize, and this is bothersome since you stated you've got 40+ years into this, is the amount of each person's unit does not matter, for they are up for the season.
Now, for the last time I will ask to keep the drama out of this thread. Thank you for you co-operation and have a nice day.Comment -
