Ok, here we go. I would have liked to post last night, but I was drunk after dinner so there was no point. There are times when TA is only able to make his posts a couple of minutes before the games, and even sometimes when he posts after the games have started. I've got a solution: deal with it. It sucks that we're going to miss some plays because they cut it close, but (not to over-use this) we need to remember that we're getting quality picks for free. Not everything is fair in life, but if you end up playing the ones that you're able to get in, you'll still be significantly positive. There are going to be plays that you miss that end up cashing, but there are also going to be plays that you end up being glad you missed. Look at last night for example; the Rockies cashed at a ten-unit play, but the other three didn't, and based on the lines that I got it was only up 0.7 units for the four plays.

There are a couple real solutions to this situation, though. One is to be ready for the plays. Have the page open as it's getting close to game-time and have your books' pages open and be ready to hit them quickly. More often than not TA gives us at least five or six minutes to get them in, but in case there's only a couple minutes you need to be ready for them.

The second is to have at least one account that offers live odds. Like Gee and some others have said over the past week or so, you're not going to have all of the games with live odds, and if one of TA's plays happens to be one without live odds then it sucks, but it's just something we've got to deal with.

There are always other guys that you can tail who give out picks a little earlier. For example, paco gives his out about a half hour ahead of time, but with the way people have been talking in his thread recently I don't know how much longer he's going to be posting his plays. Therber2 posts his pretty early and he's doing well this season. There's always other options if anybody can't deal with the timing of TA's posts. I'm really not trying to be a dick, these are just a couple of thoughts I had.
