Trying to gauge how teams will match up is no easy task. I tend to use more meaningful stats than ERA.
Some that I feel are the MOST important are bullpen WHIPs and team OBPS. Just looking at the starting pitchers and their respective splits will not get it done. You need to delve deeper and not utilize useless stats like "Oswalt is 10-2 on Tuesdays after June 1st on turf". To me, wins and losses are worthless, and most splits are worthless unless the sample size is big enough.

TA has a process, as we all do. He has found something that works for him, and you should try to find something similar.

You've known me for a while and if anybody starts up their method and is heading the non-profitable way, I'll say something and work with them to adjust it but to have to spoon feed is ridiculous.

Very good post!! Sometimes we get too wrapped up in "cyberworld" and I think it diminishes the quality of life that is waiting for us.

It's always good to take a break and enjoy quality time with the family.

Dodgers have VERY good value today, everyone. Home fave with a good bullpen facing a team with low obp, bad bullpen, and struggling starter. If the line moves, which I'm sure it will some more, be careful, as you are losing a lot of the value.
