Why is Pettite -140 against Schilling?
And Moose only -160 against Tavarez? Something doesn't add up to me. I was looking forward to making a decent-sized bet on NY tomorrow, thinking they were certain to be like -120.
Put another way, Pettite opened -120 against Matsuzaka when Matsuzaka wasn't proven at all and his ERA was over 5. Pettite wasn't very good that night (I think he gave up 5 runs in 4 2/3, not 100%), mostly because he kept walking people. Now, he comes out 20 cents higher against one of the most proven pitchers in the game? Really?
Is this an oddsmaker special, a bad line, or am I just wrong and this line is perfect?

I was expecting Pettite to be around -120 or even -115.

I am quite surprised by this...

Does seem a little off, but Pettite has been pitching very well recently. Isn't his era at 2.38??

Sox have sucked ass recently against lefties also??

I see your point with the Julian vs Moose and Schill vs Pettite though.

There is some value with the Sox but I have a feeling that the Yanks sweep the series with them.

Their backs are against the wall and have to imo.

It's surely wrong. But then again, you've got to think about the people who will bet on the Wankees whatever the price.

Anyway, looks like Tavarez is getting some early run support - and I think he'll need it.

Yankees making Tavarez look like Schilling. Hopefully tomorrow is the opposite.

Schilling has looked very shaky in his last few starts. However, the line does seem a bit off to me as well.

Who's more worthless - Abreu or JD Drew?

Didn't take long to come down to where it should have opened.

At least Drew has an excuse, he has the back of a 60-year old man. Abreu should hit .350 hitting third (originally) in the Yankees lineup.

Him being a ginger twat shouldn't excuse him for not hitting in May.

That was one of the weirdest line movements for a regular season baseball game. The line opens -140, closes -140, and I was able to lay -120 and actually could have gotten a better price.

I can't believe they called Crisp out there, he was safe by a mile.

If it was close, you could excuse it. But it wasn't.
