And Moose only -160 against Tavarez? Something doesn't add up to me. I was looking forward to making a decent-sized bet on NY tomorrow, thinking they were certain to be like -120.
Put another way, Pettite opened -120 against Matsuzaka when Matsuzaka wasn't proven at all and his ERA was over 5. Pettite wasn't very good that night (I think he gave up 5 runs in 4 2/3, not 100%), mostly because he kept walking people. Now, he comes out 20 cents higher against one of the most proven pitchers in the game? Really?
Is this an oddsmaker special, a bad line, or am I just wrong and this line is perfect?
