#177The Rangers lost Mendozaaaa
Rangers vs A's
Rangers+110 for Series 1 unit
Rangers+110 1 unit Game 1 Loss
Rangers-1.5+170 RRL .5 unit Game 1 Loss
Record 0-2-0 -1.5 units
The runline for tomorrow's game does not have the kind of return I need in order to play it (Rangers-1.5+120). And now the moneyline is looking so far likeit's gonna be out of the range that I like to play numbers at (-135 is as high as I'll go.) I don't like the fact that my team is favored on the road. I'm gonna just watch game 2 and not make a play. Not to fond of playing road favorites. Interestingly enough, if the Rangers lose , then I can take them and the RRL in the final game of the series attempting to avoid the sweep.

#179[QUOTE=cocknocker;2072414]I am in my backyard watering my grass and watching my dog tear shit up as usual. I see an airplane that I am quite sure was carrying the Giants to Texas where they will take on the Astros in a tilt. The A's just stayed home, but it doesn't matter. I still have my eyes on these teams pretty well. Whatever. Here we go f*ckers.
I have some hum-dingers in store for ya, and it ain't what you want to hear. I'm gonna go against all logical thinking and take the Padres+160 as a dog against the Braves in their series starting on Monday, if for no other reason than I think that they have a pitching advantage. Latos is lights out and kawakami got rocked in his last outing against the Fish giving up 6 earned runs with 7 hits and walked 3 and K'd 4. It was the first time in 5 starts that he struck out more than he walked and this guy hasn't gone past 6 innings since whenever.
The Padres are hot and are on a current streak of 5 wins with one loss. I am not going to be the one to get in the way of that. You either play the Padres in this series or else get the f*ck out of the way! The teams have a history dominated by the Braves so as I said this is a series of current play, not historical play. What is funny about the matchup in this series is that San Diego's starters are 1-0 vs the Braves and the Braves starters are 4-1. The winning percentage is on the side of the Padres with the unkown factor thrown in!
Padres+160 for series vs Braves
Padres+100 Game 1
Padres/Braves under 7.5
Padres-1.5+210 RRL
Record 0-0-0

#181CK,
I was thinking about going the reverse way on the JM play of the Nats and taking Florida with the viggo. Can you elaborate on the Nats pick for me? It's Johnson vs Martin on the plate to start and I see no comparison between these two pitchers. Also the fact that Florida has swept them all three series this season makes it hard for me to take the Nats. Thanks.Comment -

#182The line alone in the Colorado/Philly game says alot about what will happen. Public money will drive the line up, and the Rockies will win the game. They are playing in better form right now. Hammel hasn't ever faced the Phils, and that is to his teams' advantage. Also working in their advantage is Moyer gets lit up when he faces the Rocks (1-4overall last 5). If the Rocks are gonna win one of these games it would have to be game 1. If the line goes up to a ridiculous number and I can get the Rockies+1.5 -135, then i would take that bet. Hell I'm betting on everything else anyway already....Gonna watch the line on this one overnight too. The joes will show who they like by then. Action Man ain't f*ckin around. I'll be back in character by Wednesday though as the series get serious
Man if the O's win that game by more than one run....Comment -

#186Hopefully were making the right decision. Ive actually gone the other way on these JM plays alot and its worked out quite well. Like last night i took the Cubs instead of the cincis. You gonna take the Marlins tomorrow or just lay off the game? I know its alot of viggo to take the ML but i think it might actually be safe to take the RL too. The Marlins WILL win one of these games by 2+ runs.Comment -

#187Morning line check
Series bets
Giants/Astros over 9 40% on the over, line dropped from 9.5 to 8.5 bad movement so far
Padres 25% on their side and the line drops from Atl-162 to Atl-154 Excellent
KC 24% o their side and the line goes from Sea-110 to Sea-112 only Excellent
KC-1.5 +205 RRL
KC+100 for Series
Other bets
Pale Hose 27% Line drops from LAA-134 to LAA-133 Excellent
Tampa 48% Line increases from Tam-110 to Tam-118 Excellent
O's-8% and the line is pretty stable Det -220 to Det -225 Beyond Excellent
O's-1.5 +265 Incredible value for this IPO
Reds(JM) 53% Line increased from Cin-110 to Cin-112 RLM against the Cubs! Wow
Nats(JM) NO PLAY
So today it looks as if I have made my plays going aginst the grain of the public with the exception of the Reds whih at 53% does have appropriate movement. The Reds aren't my play to begin with, rather a JM play, but the movement is satisfactory for me. The Nats were dropped as a play for me personally. I have too much action going today to waste time on a shit teamComment -

#191Tomorrow, Kyle Davies will be on the bump for the Royals instead of Ponson, who had a 4-1 record vs the M's. Not a problem. Although Davies is 1-1 vs the M's he has a much more live fastball than Ponson who was demoted to AAA because h has lost the pop on his smoker. Still gonna roll with the Royals on both days!

#193Crumbs Play of the Day
O's+180 First Five Innings
Brian Matusz is the jewel of the O's farm system shooting up through the farm ranks at an alarming rate. He has control (121 K's and only 32 walks in 113 minor league innings), he has the record and era (4-2 with a 2.16 era in Class A ball and 7-0 1.55 era in AA) to make a fine showing and get the O's through the 6th inning. The Tigers hitters have obviously never seen him pitch before, so hopefully they won't figure out what he is doing until the 3rd time through the batting order. You have to love that the O's are controlling the movement on this game with a mere 21% of bettors on their side.
I have already made a wager on them for the full game as well as a small play on the RRL (+265). The O's bats are scortching hot, and Washburn is a very pedestrian 1-4 vs the O's. I plan on leaving no crumbs on the table for this game if I am right. With very little money put up in the way of units, I stand to make almost 6X the amount that I am putting up on this gameComment -

#194Looking ahead to tomorow, the amount of plays will dramatically decrease back down to normal standards. There are quite a few if's based upon results from my series bets which may pipe up the total of bets a little. I won't bother painting those scenarios just yet, but here is what I like looking ahead to Wednesday's action
Cubs-1.5 Harden is 4-0 vs the Reds. The Cubs are in a pennant chase. You do the math.
Cubs/Reds Over ANYTHING
Wahoos+ANYTHING Liriano is a dumptruck on the road & has no business being favored this game.
As far as the series bets are concerned, I had two 9th inning heartbreakers yesterday. One happened when the Giants scored a seemingly meaningless run in the 9th to kill my RL play on the Astros. The other happened when the Rangers had a complete reliever heartburn for me in the 9th and lost outright after going into the 9th up 2-0. What a bad beat. But anyway here's the skinny.
Rangers vs A's
I am gonna watch the Rangers/A's game tonight and see what happens in this one.
If the Rangers lose, then I will play them on the RL for 1.5 units in Game 3 only to avoid the sweep and hopefully give me a positive outcome for the series. At the very least, I will only be down 3 units on that one.
If the Rangers win Game 2, then I will play them on the moneyline (1 unit) AND the RL (.5 unit) in Game 3, business as usual.
Braves vs Padres
If the Padres win today's game then I am through with that series.
If the Padres lose today's game then I will play them on the ML in Game 3
Giants vs Astros
If the Astros win today's game then I am through with that series.
If the Astros lose today's game then I will play them on the moneyline AND the RL in Game 3
Mariners vs Royals
If the Royals win today's game by 2 runs then I will play them moneyline only in Game 2 (Wednesday)
If the Royals win today's game by 1 run, then I will play them on the ML and RL in Game 2
If the Royals lose today's game then so what? I play them on the ML and RL in Game 2Comment -

#195Absolutely LOVE Houston/SF Over 8.5 tonite...glad to see CK already there too! Sanchez is 0-8 w/a 6.60 ERA on the road...Houston mashes lefties pretty well and Paulino is a fastball only pitcher.....horrible 7.04 ERA & allows .330 ba against him!
I see something like a 6-5 game here! Finished up yesterday positive but that Texas game hurt! That lefty Holland is the real deal though...I think they'll bounce back...that kid w/Oakland has been batting practice this year! I got -120 which isn't too much imo! Huge play on Hou/SF though...that should be easy!!

#196solobass the date is December 7th, and also you really need to clean out your PM box. I am guilty of the same thing sometimes too so whatever. Yesterday I lost my cell phone and a whole lot of nice contact numbers that I never bothered to write down. So who am I to talk? And Metro has horrible replacement phones. There's no way I'll get identical value for what I invested into the original phone. I don't even have BigMoney's number anymore....Comment -

#198Hell no! Metro is reliable! And the bill is the same always. When I had Sprint phone I had bills that were usually$900.00 to $1200.00 on average. I have not had a bill over $59.00 since I have had Metro which has been three years now. No way will I listen to anyone's advice on cellular phones now! I'm saving too much money to listen! I can do this for a living because everything is looked at as a profit/loss investment, lol!Comment -

#200I already played the over for the Giants/Astros as indicated. I like the bet now. The consensus has evened up now and its 49% on the over and 51% on the under, so now i love that pick as well. I anticipate that here on Action Man Day I will have some good opportunities to make profit. I am expecting somewhere in the area of +7 units. I hardly ever make this many bets in one day. If the results are bad then I will be reminded why very quickly.Comment -
