I will roll with Ortiz, then so be it. I am still gonna roll with the Astros, because I know they can win at Wrigley now! No doubt the public will be all over the Cubs. I have to roll the other way! Ortiz still has a positive record against the Cubbos over the last 5. That's all that I need to work with. These teams were playing equally coming into this series, and it has been proven that they are just that with the results.

I'm gonna roll with the Giants for the series despite Lincecum's less than stellar record against the Phils. The trade will blind bettors to the fact that the Giants enjoy one of the best home field advantages in the majors. It's all about the pitching and the Panda. I don't wager against the Phils much, but their bats are cool right now. I know that for a fact because I lost on the two over wagers with them when playing in Arizona, one of the best park factor fields in the league. I fully believe that the Phils are full of themselves with the trade and feel annointed. And they probably are if they never had to meet the Red Birds or Dodgers in the playoffs (it would be an upset of monumental proportions. Lee can't pitch to Manny. Neither can Hamels). The Giants will bring the Phils back down to earth after this series. I think I can squeeze two wins out of the Giants!

So with the start of a new set of series, it's time to start a new tread for the 2nd half of the week! Two of my series won (the Mets have a double header to decide it. All that I need is one win) so i am happy and paid! What a way to end the first half of the week!
