Teams aren't going to be more likely to win the game (or beat the run line) if they've lost the last 4 games badly.

The reason why chasing baseball teams on cold streaks is sometimes a good idea is because oddsmakers might look disproportionately at the last few games when developing the odds, so they might make the odds of the slumping team winning the next game and/or covering the run line too low. The advantage would be from the amount of money you'd get from winning the bet-not because the team's odds of winning the game or covering the run line have actually increased after the last few games.

bettingman6..... I'll be honest like the rest of us... I was skeptical of the Chase System(Martingale). But just like the casinos know.... With enough capital the martingale is profitable like it or not. This is even better because we apply a filter before beginning the chase and we cap the amount of bets inside of that chase.

Why would you only bet 1% of your bankroll if you're going 154-4? The 1-2% bankroll roll is under the assumption that you'll lose a large percentage of your bets. Seriously, if you go 154-4, you might as well bet about 40% of your bankroll on every game. If you have a McDonald's job, you could probably save up 6 months salary and then become richer than Bill Gates in 2 baseball seasons with that kind of record. (If you can avoid getting banned.)

I notice you went 24-16 there, when you actually posted your results before the games. Underdogs cover the run line about 59% of the time. (About 57% of the time if the underdog's at home and 61% of the time if the underdog's on the road.) With the 1.2% juice, you need to win underdog run line bets 60.2% of the time in order to profit. In these 40 bets, you only won 60%.

Why would you only bet 1% of your bankroll if you're going 154-4? The 1-2% bankroll roll is under the assumption that you'll lose a large percentage of your bets. Seriously, if you go 154-4, you might as well bet about 40% of your bankroll on every game. If you have a McDonald's job, you could probably save up 6 months salary and then become richer than Bill Gates in 2 baseball seasons with that kind of record. (If you can avoid getting banned.)

WOW you really have no idea about a chase system.... The few games you see in the post are a snapshot of maybe the last month of games. In each for System 1 and System 2 I reference a post number where you can go back and look at the previous plays for the season. But for people like you who only want to look at the last post take a look at the:

G1 (A) - This is the record for the (A) plays in the chase
G2 (B) - This is the record for the (B) plays in the chase
G3 (C) - This is the record for the (C) plays in the chase

So let's take a look at System 3 since you have an issue.
G1 - (A) 61-46
G2 - (B) 29-18
G3 - (C) 10-7

When dealing with a 3-game chase, an 'A' and 'B' loss mean nothing, it is the 'C' loss that counts. So from the above you would be 100-7 which is that same value 2019 System to Date: 100-7.

So the winning percentage of the system is: 100/107 = 93.46%
