The damn fish blow an 8-3 lead and lose the phukin game. The Twinkies leave 8,000 runners on base and lose 2-1. Then to top it off the Dbags go down 6-3 and have me piss my pants before they decide they want to win and score 5 in the 12th.
Since July 27th I''m 25-30 and dropped a little over 9 units. The funny thing is that I knew it was coming. I fukkin gambled over $8 bills today so I could win $40 fukkin bucks
The only thing that made this day decent is that the my boys beat the RedSux Super frustrated and may need to take some time off to get my rythm back. Rant over.........................

Damn Marlins, I never once thought that they would get swept by the Nationals.
Glad to see were both on it!
Panek talked me into the Angels also... I might do a small Yanks RL play just for shits and giggles later...

Cubs/Rockies is almost a pick em. Jimenez has struggled career wise against the Cubs but Zambrano has struggled against the Rockies with a 204 career record. The cubs offense is either hot or not. Can't bring myself to place on either.
Mariners/Rays - Niemann vs King Felix....another good pitching matchup. Niemann is solid and King Felix has been ridiculous. However, the Mariners offense worries me. This should be a low scoring game and a few runs may be enough to win it. If I had to make a play I would probably take the Rays.
Nats/Dbacks - I would take the Dbacks myself but the damn Nats have been playing good ball lately. With Garland on the mound anything can happen. Also with the Dbacks facing a pitcher they've never seen before I tend to give the edge to the pitcher.
I hate the schedule for today but best of luck on your plays

Angels make me nervous but Texas is still without Kinsler/Cruz. I think this game will be high scoring but really don't see an edge either way.
As far as the Yanks just going to crack a few cold ones and hope the good A.J. shows up today.
What a great game yesterday huh Cash?? I am 1-3 this year betting on CC now, I was really nervous because every game I took him this year he got lit up early and then settled in...
I like TB, Det, Oak, and Oak over today... Leaned towards Cards, Zona, Mets but couldnt pull the trigger on those..

Yeah it was a great game. I was still nervous until DJ hit the two run shot
Still researching but as of right now I'm definately on the Rays and Tigers. Also like the A's, Giants, Cubs and Angels.
However, even with Cain on the mound for the Giants, Harang pitched well last time out and SF's offense is enough to make me sick. I really can't take another low scoring game in late innings.
I like the Angels but it's real high juice especially when Lackey has struggled in his career against Texas. Lackey has been great recently though but Texas can put up runs in a hurry. On the flip side Holland for Texas is just horrible.
Cards, Zona and Mets.....same here. Duke is good against the Cards and Piniero is hit or miss. Zona - Washington is hot and will the real Petit show up today? The Mets....well they're the Mets
May just play the Rays and Tigers but not sure.........
Cash, are you liking anything today? I am having a hard time finding anything that really sticks out. I am thinking about unloading on Detroit, also like the Yanks, Dodgers, Cards over and Angels over...

Yeah I'm having a tough time as well. I'm targeting Marlins, Dbacks and A's as of now. Thinking about the Yanks as well. Can't pick an over/under to save my life though. I may just sit today out but not sure.
The damn Fish have been killing me though. I play them they lose....I play against them they win. They get swept by the Nationals but sweep the Phillies Freakin Dbacks are banged up....No Upton and just got swept by the Nationals.
The schedule today =

Yeah Dbacks are no play now since Upton is out and they have been way too unpredictable. I was as far as about to hit the submit button on the Marlins yesterday and then I stopped myself because I was scared that the Phils wouldnt get swept at home. I even posted that Johnson was the wrong guy to try and wake up against, pissed at myself for that one...
I like the fish at home today though...I also think there is value in the A's, they are pretty similar teams and dont see what justifies a 1.5-1 line, although Oaklands bullpen has been used a lot the last few days.
You dont like the Dodgers? SF cannot score runs to save their pathetic lives! Bases loaded with 0 outs TWICE yesterday and I think they only got 1 or 2 runs total...

I'm taking it easy today too. Yesterday was a pure Day of Death and I'm taking some time to reassess. August is a tough month in general.
I like the Fish as well and actually like the under in the Mets/Zona game. Pelfrey hasn't thrown for a few days because his wife gave birth to their child, but Zona bats have been cold as ice lately.
I also like Boston but I HATE that Penny is on the mound. Boston are 9-1 the last four seasons when coming home off three road losses. But the Tigers have stellar numbers vs. Penny and honestly, Penny should be back in the minors by now. Still, you can't take the over with Boston not producing at all!
Tough card for sure. I took the CWS and the over but not so confident about it. Mariners are 2-7 when coming off a home win their next game at home as dogs so far this year. White Sox are 1-2 coming off a home loss and moving onto the road, all favouring the over (they were dogs in all those games though).

Staying far away from the Dodgers. Sanchez has good numbers at home and the Dodgers have won Kuroda's last 4 starts. Just don't like the matchup although I think the Dodgers will win. Just not confident enough to make it a play.

Fish/Stros - Vandenhurk has never faced the Astros before and was roughed up by the Nats in his last start. Moehler is terrible at home but is 5-1 with a 3.91 ERA on the road. Moehler did get roughed up by the Giants last time out though. I'm leaning towards the Fish but just can't seem to pull the trigger. Further input anyone???

The few AB's the Stros have versus VandenHurk they have absolutely rocked him, but that doesn't really say much. I can see him coming back at home and having a fairly strong performance. Astros are really ailing, no Berkman in the lineup and they simply are not producing runs. The Fish are riding a huge high but with them getting swept by the Nats, then sweeping the Phils, is it time for them to lose again?
Moehler has been good on the road but his performance has declined considerably since July. He's giving up around 4+ walks per game. VandenHurk got rocked his last outing but has been reliable since. He gives up very few walks but seems to be susceptible to HR's. He gave up 5 ER's on 3 HR's to Washington. Houston is not that big of a HR threat and I can't see VandenHurk repeating that performance. He also gives up few hits. So unless you think that Houston is gonna launch some HR's against VandenHurk I say that he has a pretty big edge. Coupled with a confident Florida and sizzling offense I think Florida is safe bet!
But I've been ice-cold of late so don't listen to me lol
