Good morning,

For the last week I have been refining and tracking my "Reliever Plays". Over the years these have been my bread and butter, and now that the xFIP web site I used in the past, is no longer posting that data, I am going to just use what I have used for years and handicap based on the work/rest of the bullpen. Time permitting, I will handicap umpires and weather into the plays. With that said, these have shown a profit over the years.

These games are all second half plays, innings 6 thru 9. Some sports books offer them before the game starts (Bookmaker) and most you can play as a live play. If second half plays are not available to you, these have also shown a profit by playing the entire game.

Sagorjanski brought up a good point in his previous post, if you would have played the full game rather than the last half of the games yesterday, you would have been 4-2 vs 3-3. For the next few days I will track the difference in my win/loss figures and see how they compare.

Ah, my mistake. I snuck in at the end of the 5th and grabbed over 15.5 in the KC/Bos game, and only just noticed that the Red Sox managed to get a run in the 5th, after I had placed my bet.
