looked like a very solid day up until kc closer comes in to do what they do best. before i hit submit, it thought, you know i should probably back myself up on this by wagering on the first 5, but i didn't do it because they had looked somewhat decent for the shit team they are. and BEHOLD, a plus day turns into a minimal loss of -.09 units. two very bad days for bad beats back to back for me. ANYWAYS, picks up in a little.

3-1 yesterday for +2 units yesterday. Ol' Dbacks couldn't hold on to give me the sweep. They have big problems in their bullpen. Archie ain't the guy he used to be and Macfarland has the ability to lose a game solely by himself, just like he did yesterday. I will be shocked if they don't fix this before post season.

MAN!!!! Jamie Garcia killed the sweep. You look at Toronto's bullpen and it's hilarious. More than half those guys were considered starters at one point in their careers. Now that can't even close out an inning by themselves. 6 runs int he 8th?! c'mon mannnn!

0-2 for -3.59. i didn't like that cubs play and i played it anyways. go figure they were the only favorite not to cover.
BOLD PREDICTION: cubs don't make it past the first round of playoffs. they don't look motivated, driven, or hungry. NL is full of young studs that have the spark the cubs lack. and i am not basing this off one game. cubs made some big time mistakes grabbing overrated pitchers and paying them too much out of desperation. theo epstein normally doesn't make these types of mistakes but they made 3 in a row between darvish, chatwood, and quintana, who i am ecstatic they took off the white sox hands.
anyways, three losing days in a row after a very profitable hot streak. 1-5 for -5.83 units over the last three days. all favorites covered yesterday. look for dogs to bite today

I agree ODB. Cubs haven’t looked motivated since they won the WS. IMO, Darvish was the worst signing. Something is missing on that team and they’re usually always favored because the public loves them.

thanks, my man. i'm gonna play the padres, but not out of spite. ross, on paper, is better than quintana at pretty much every angle. padres also hitting equally as well as the cubs when playing lefties as of late. just hoping cubbies inability to hit carries over to today
