Just a few thoughts:

Braves hitters have hammered Duke in the past and Pirates bats cooling down following McLouth trade, losing 2 of 3 to the Stros.

Cards haven't suffered a 4 game RL sweep in almost 20 years, Thompson has pitched real well against the Rockies in the past.

Randy Johnson has owned the Marlins in his career and has pitched very well coming off of short rest. He also volunteered to pitch today, saying that it was never about 300 wins and that he was going to do what he could to help his team win, so I'm not convinced about the post-milestone breakdown.

Looking at the pitching matchups today I made a quick $50 on no run in the 1st inning for the Col/Cards game. This should be low-scoring at least until the starters are gone.

It didn't turn out so bad after all. Only one run surrendered. Oddly enough, I profited off of that run, lol! The Tigers had their chances in the top of the frame. Richards will give a few opportunites back before the end of the game.

I jumped all over the Fish but I have some not-so-friendly stats:

Johnson is 6-1 in nine starts on three days' rest with a 2.84 ERA.

Johnson also optioned to start this game so his bruised shoulder is not an issue. And seriously, what's a bruise anyway, he is obviously fine. He has also only let up 3 ER's in his last 4 starts. Here's to hoping that he's due for a correction
