Halladay didn't want to risk going to the bullpen like last time.
14 K's ladies and gentlemen, best pitcher in the association and glad he's on my team.

Game note for tomorrow if anyone is not currently aware. This will probably get hammered so maybe this is valuable to know tonight. R Johnson is going for his 300th win tomorrow night in WAS. He's currently a slight dog to Jordan Zimmerman. That probably won't last once the squares get word of the significance of the game for the Unit.

Reliever heartburn = Kevin Gregg. Why is this dude even a closer?
Yes! Halladay is a STUD! He wanted the ball in the 9th. I wouldn't trust that Jays pen either.

Here's one thing I don't understand....and I'm not trying to be rude.......but this seems to be a common theme with a lot of us. Why do we play the entire game instead of the 1st 5 when we are concerned about reliever heartburn? Even CK himself spelled out some scenarios in his initial writeup where taking the 1st 5 is the correct play.....but I don't think I hardly ever see him posting plays on the 1st 5.

I took the UNDER for the game. Every time I take the FF innings, there always seems to be a way to get screwed or at least for me there is. I'm not taking offense to the post, LDK.

1 - in the al
2 - in the al east vs great offenses
3 - in a hitters park where balls fly on the rug (im pretty sure they dont have grass)
best pitchers in the world
1) strasburg

Tomorrow's under for me (if anyone cares) is OAK/CWS under 9. I like to post it the night before in case of line movement.
If you look at every fricking indicator under the sun.... if the two starters in this game were named Santana and Peavy this line would be set at 6.5 . I might lose backing two youngsters without a large body of work to draw from, but the indicators say this is a no-brainer for me.

LOL. Trust me, you'll get burned first time out with a 5 inning bet now. It's just the way it works.
There's nothing easy about this guys. There's nothing easy. I've seen some really shallow handicapping methods posted here and there, and poeple acting like 3 team parlays (even run line parlays) are sure things...and talk of locks and "inside information" on a daily basis. It's just not that easy guys. It never will be.
I spend a couple hours a day just trying to find one under I feel worthy of betting and posting here with my name attached to it. And that's after perfunctorily dismissing 7 or 8 out of 10-12 games every night b/c they don't meet the bare requirments to be considered. I spend over an hour capping one or two games a night essentially. It's the only way I've been able to show the first hint of success.
The only way to win at this thing we do is to put in the time and the effort. Even then you might still lose. Ain't it great?
Meanwhile, I might blow a gasket if this hockey game stays under after a 4 goal first period.

Wed 6/3-
mets (ML - 2x) - pelfrey has a 2.18/1.01 in his last 3 and pitched 7 scoreless last year in pitt. ohlendorf has a 6.11/1.58 in his last 3. mets should bounce back off johans loss.
redsox (ML) (3x - Autobet) - beckett has a whip of .90 in his last 3, while gallaraga has a 1.92
over yanks - pettite left his last start with back stiffness and 5bb's in 5inn. a usual yankee stadium shootout..

Wait what?...
You probably don know much about the Jays because I trust Scott Downs to close a game just as much as I have Halladay to start one.
Those guys are beasts.

Jays bullpen is very good. They got ruffed up last few weeks but otherwise solid.
