Always feel that way after an easy A bet win. But risk vs. reward always has to be considered. If that series went to a C bet we would have all been sweating it out big time!

I checked and found there is a similar system for the NBA and NHL.
How about the NFL or college football?
Is there similar system for football season?
If not, do you have any advice on who I should cap/follow for football season?

Man, I was exercising decent discipline this past season until this NYM game. Mother eff. I forgot to bet A and B but of course come C, I go willy nilly thinking it was a sure thing. What I totally acknowledged and ignored was the fact that the Mets are rebuilding now with the Rosario call up (and other soon to be called up prospects). Their motivation to play is almost nil and that changes things mightily against the hottest team in the Dodgers who reloaded post-ASB and are going for the gold.

Gotta apply my own filter going forward: Don't bet on teams that have packed it in and/or rebuilding right now.

I agree with you to a degree. First off, I too have been conservative most of the season when it came to a C bet but I stuck with it the whole way so shame on me. But and maybe cause I'm a Mets fan, teams still play to win. Guys are playing for jobs with the Mets and for other teams. LAD is just on another level this season. Hence we had some insanely cheap odds on the +1.5 RL. Really the series should have ended game 2. The bullpen is just a disaster at the moment and after that blowup I should have licked my wounds and maybe just played the C bet to win a unit or not at all.

Going back to your comments I think that is why the system officially ends in mid-August so that we are not involved in these situations where one team is highly motivated verse another. who is not in the play-off picture.

Yeah, I hear you. Mets were just shot. I should'e stayed away. I was up about $100 too for the day on Sunday (I've been playing about $20-$30 per unit depending upon the capper since ASB) so I should've just laid off the night game but of course I had to press the issue.

Fellow Mets fan here as well. That might've been the tipping point.

Another A bet easy winner...

Looking ahead (8/8), ARZ vs LAD, remember filter about going against top RPI teams....LAD ranked #1 in RPI with a .551. (ARZ is in top 4 with an RPI of .517)

Also proceed with caution in that there is a larger than normal difference in RPI .551 to .517 = .034....

I am betting less than normal on this series....LAD going with Maeda, Wood, Darvish in the 3 game series...ARZ going with Godley, Greinke and ? (TBA). ARZ will have their hands full in this series. I think buying ARZ+1.5 every time will be prudent.

All good thoughts from Derty D and Mxs1332. However, I'm still playing system as is. Really good points raised by Derty D to keep in mind though for wager size. I may reduce my bet size for this one. While LAD is playing really well right now, ARI is no slouch plus it's a division rivalry (I know these don't matter as much in MLB as compared to NFL and maybe other sports but something to consider. Greinke and Godley are still good pitchers to bet a +1.5 on esp Greinke.

I think ATL is a play. Maybe I'm missing something but I'm on
ATL-175. PHL did sweep them 4 straight. (First since the '40's).
