larussa always does that....its his way of looking like a mad genius, but imo, it does nothing. i guess he wants his leadoff guy to have protection or something...as if the hitter batting 9th is any good...

Now comes the moment of truth. Can this guy get the top of the Cardinals' order out without giving up a run the second time around. I think he's on a limited pitch count, so he probably won't go through the order again after this go round. He'll be out by the 5th. KC needs a couple of runs to chase Lohse second time around.

I don't play with fire. I'd think the Royals would get something off Lohse but I don't know how long Hochevar will last and if he'll do any more damage. Just stay away, peter. There are plenty more games today.

Lol, I was just gonna say that Lohse is looking like CY Young, nice! Looks like a completely different pitcher than he did when he was with the Twins to start his career.

Booked heavy on STL... KC can't hit. I'm amazed you are on them CK. Their bullpen is atrocious. They would need Hochevar to go 7 strong for any chance.
