The good: We picked up another two Official Bet A wins. Wish I had bet the BOS +1.5 instead of just the ML though. I normally bet both or just the +1.5 but for some reason I felt confident enough in BOS. Of course, Pedroia and Ortiz didn't play so that didn't help. Even then they only lost by a run.

You know, I'm not quite sure. If I had been running this thread from the beginning I would probably have kept track but I didn't have time to go back and see. If I end up doing this again next season I'll definitely keep track. However, if you just followed the the Official series then you'd be up quite a bit. Only one series loss this season and more series wins than in the past four years or so.Comment -

My wife is korean. However im a gambler.
I made a small wager on honduras.
I watched the early games.
I knew korea has more talent and would out play honduras.
However, pride kicked in during the game.
The honduras goalkeeper played exceptional, and their game plan for a conter attack worked to perfection.
In the early rounds with korea beating top tier teams, you would except korea to win, and honduras knew that. Their defense stayed back. Which made it difficult for the more talented korean side to score. The first real chance for honduras to conter attack they scored. Then they turtled their way to a victory.

The good: We picked up another Official Bet A win with our CIN +1.5 win which would've won on the ML, too. This time I played it safer and just went with the +1.5 especially because the price was agreeable. Just wish I went a little bit harder, but of course, hard to do that when you're betting a series chase.
The bad: LAA +1.5 lost. Not even close. The Trouts couldn't even get a run on the board. Hopefully tonight is different.

Looks like the price is getting cheaper. I know this can go either way at any given moment but typically prices tend to flow in one direction for a while before changing course abruptly. I will say that I've noticed more often than not that the prices have tended to become cheaper over the course of the day leading up to game time. The good: Found some time to post today.
The bad: Second time this month we're going to a Bet C, which is pretty good but you never want to "C" it anyway. See what I did there? Haha. Despite the Yankees selling off their team they're still playing hot. Angels suck and they don't deserve Trout. Hopefully, something changes today and we pick up a win. I haven't placed my bet yet and am considering skipping the Bet C and just eating my losses.
Yuniel Escobar, 2nd in AL in batting average, is on DL for the Angels. Chacin, starting for the Angels, has sucked since entering the starting rotation. Green, starting for the Yanks, pitched well last time out and represents the Yank's rebuilding process and focus on youth. All of this is straight from ESPN's preview of the game. Ha! This is just me, but it always seems like the opposite happens of what the pregame writeups are from the mainstream outlets.

The good: Can you believe it? An Unofficial Bet C winner! It was 1-0 most of the game, too! The Angels had one of the worst pitchers in Chacin drum up a nice shutout to give us our 44th Unofficial Series winner. August has been straight fire for the Sweeps System. What should have been a volatile month was nothing but awesomeness. I think we hit Bet C only twice this month. Most winners came at Bet A.
The bad: It's August 22. We should probably stop betting these games now. Hard to know what teams' motivations are especially with playoff chances becoming more and more clear by the day.

Just laid a bet equal 2% of my bankroll on ATL ML. Not sure what to do about TB and OAK. Last time Price pitched against TB he blanked them and won 4-0. Last time Snell pitched against BOS, they scored 7 runs (but lost 7-13).

The Official Loss was from the Tigers (Cleveland) on May 3,4,5. I checked SBROdds for that week and took the avg of the first few books to find what the loss would have been. I came up with the tigers being underdogs in each game so you would have taken the RL with the prices being -175, -125, and -175 You would have lost a total of 17.77 units on that series. Please someone check my math and let me know if this is wrong but if it is right, we would be up 19.23 units on Official Plays.Comment -

The good: Both the ATL and OAK series won because they were the underdog and the recommended bet was on the runline. Of course, I'm an idiot and bet ATL ML and TB ML and forgot all about OAK because I was too busy watching Hard Knocks. Dumb, dumb, dumb of me. The bad: TB lost so on to the next one. Boston is a scary, scary team so it's hard to bet against them going forward but hey, OAK just won their bet last night and their opponent was slightly better than them in RPI and almost as good on the road.

The good: We get to test our faith in this system late into the season.
The bad: Lost Unofficial Bet B last night by one run (technically by two runs if you think about it). Hard to go forth on the Bet C when we just had a Bet C with LAA that ended in our favor on Sunday against the Yankees. Will we see another Bet C miracle? Man, hard to tell. Porcello is nice.
Porcello has pitched three sweet gems against the Rays this season so far. Andriese pitched two scoreless innings in relief against the Red Sox this season. That's it. Two. Innings. That's. It.
I've suffered some bad losses this week after hitting my MLB bankroll peak this season only five days ago so I'm a little fearful to pull the trigger here. But, hey we just saw Chacin win game 3 for us in the LAA series. And, there's probably other examples of Bet C wins. There's also five examples of Unofficial Series losses as well at Bet C. Ugh.
Sorry for the late post. Was busy with work. Yeah, believe it or not the Sweeps System doesn't provide me with enough income to retire from my day occupation.

The good: We put our faith in the system and we were rewarded. BOS came out swinging right away in the 1st but TB kept it close all the way and won in the 11th. Couldn't believe it. Luckily, I was able to get down on TB ML, +1.5 and +2.5 live which provided all the profits as my pregame bet was only enough to recoup losses at +1.5.
The bad: Nothing really but as September quickly approaches the viability of the system becomes more tenuous. When will we see another loss? It's been a while including this whole month. Next season I'd like to keep track of month by month performance as well just to see how the system does in different months.
The pending: One Official Bet A tonight. Pirates are on the road but they played the earliest game yesterday so they had time to fly to Milwaukee which isn't a long flight from Pittsburgh, settle in and rest up for tonight's game. Milwaukee actually has the 5th strongest home record in NL so there will be a challenge for the Pirates to overcome. I'm not going to dive into the pitchers. If we've seen anything in our Bet Cs recently it's that the power of the system trumps the perceived weakness of pitching.

If you see any series missing or have any suggestions for me please let me know. Also, if you have any commentary or thoughts on what you think about the pitching matchups, how the teams are doing, or if you know of any good handicappers (from SBR or otherwise) who are on or fading these teams, please chime in! I compare the system picks to others all the time. I still tend to follow the system picks but it's always helpful to know who else is on what.

Checking in. Since you told me to.
I'm not getting 1/2 of your plays from Tony. Last one from Tony was Seattle official (lost C bet) which you don't have
and you had Tampa which Tony didn't give me.
He must still be in jail. Whoever is sending plays, sucks.
