Hey guys this is my first trip to Vegas and I'm planning on staying at and playing at the Wynn. I was thinking about making a $5000 wager on an upcoming football game and was wondering if the Wynn would take a bet this "large"? If not do you guys know any casinos that would? I read online that some Vegas casinos have low limits for newer players...thoughts? Thanks!

#2Depends on the game. If it's preseason or some small NCAA cfb game then probably not. You could easily split it up though among 2 books with ease I'm sure. What do I know though I've only dealt with online books.Comment -

#5No I'm asking seriously. 2 weeks ago I would have thought the same thing but as my trip got closer I was reading articles online that said that a lot of books cap wagers at 3-5kComment -

I've seen many sportsbooks take bets from $5 to $30000. Like the guy said above if you come in and try to lay $20000 on a MAC game, they might "call a manager". It really does depend on the event but you shouldn't get capped at 5k.Comment -

#12So I spoke with the credit manager at the Wynn and she told me that if I bring a cashiers check, only 20% (or so she thinks) can be used at the sportsbook. Can anyone confirm this?Comment -
