Pitt is one of the hotter teams who have hit Kennedy well. Shelby has owned the giants and Oakland is going against a Hot yanks team. Does streaks end today ( Pitt win streak, Shelby pitching lights out against giants)

"Shelby has owned the Giants". Really? I've watched him his entire career and outside of 1 dominate start at Busch I don't recall him owning anyone. I know he has been to AT&T twice and never made it out of the 6th..

One of those AT&T visits must have been in the post season because I only see 2 times he has faced SF in his career during the regular season.

It is very possible it was the post season last yr bro. I hadn't thought bout it but now that we mentioning it it probably was. Makes sense I remember it so well, it didn't go well. He was run by the 3rd if I recall correctly ..

Robbed, it was last postseason. He went 3.2 innings, 6 hits, 2 walks, 3 earned. Obviously the hook wouldn't have been that short most likely in reg season, which coulda made that last inning worse or maybe he gets out of it and sorts himself out..

Just looked it up. 3.2 innings pitched and gave up 3 runs, 6 hits and 2 walks. You are correct

Now you see why I've had a hard time excepting hearing "Shelby has owned sf" when my lasting memory was losing to them in the postseason, yet again. Lol. While Shelby got knocked around in the process. I do recall his really good start here in stl vs them his 1st full season, pretty sure I was at that gm..

Everyone as in fish 3x, Phils 2x, Cincy 2x. He hasn't faced much of anyone let alone everyone.

Pitching great and being one of the 3 best isn't quite the same. There is no gm in baseball taking him in the top 10.

Right now no gm would take him top 10.

He is on fire pitching against probably the easiest schedule any starting pitcher has faced to date this season. He continued it today vs the second solid hitting team he has faced this year. He is pitching well, not sure how that makes him one of the 3 best now or any other time? I guess he is right behind nick Martinez of tex.

Means same people had posts about how the Nats are in trouble and fire Williams and the Mets were going to the World Series when they ran off like 8 or 9 straight.....Shelby Miller is a solid pitcher in the league nothing more. I would take 10-15 guys in just the national league over him

I agree that Miller isn't an "elite" pitcher, but I don't think there is a GM who wouldn't trade Niese for Miller in a heart beat. I also can't think of anyone on Pit outside of Cole who I would pick over Miller. Never been a fan of Liriano's, and no one else is close. But, he's definitely not a top 3 pitcher. He has top 3 stats right now, maybe. And he might be on my list to fade in the second half
