Tim Cooney is an absolute beast on the mound. A crafty lefty that forces ground balls out the ass. Not to mention he's from Philadelphia and will be playing against his favorite team growing up. Yeah, there's good value on taking the Phils vs a rookie pitcher, but assessing the situation and putting the Cards offense against Buchanan who is about as bad of a starting pitcher as they come... Not worth it to me. Not to mention, they want Cooney to start out on a hot note and give him confidence moving forward. Becoming Waino's replacement has got to be nerve racking, so I can't imagine the Cardinals not putting together another big offensive performance to back this kid up.

Yeah, I can't see the kid tossing a shutout but if Buchanan throws a decent game then kudos to him and ill go you know what myself. So yes, love the over. Also, Phils Over 3 is a nice play.

Makes me a lil nervous. i don't see this being a pitchers duel, so which offense would i take...def cards at home. but at -180, def a no play for me. GL if you play it

I have taken it, yes. Only for 0.5 units, but this is extremely strange, considering a guy on the mound who never has pitched in the big leagues before. Of course he looked very good in the minors, the Phillies bats are shit, but nonetheless that's a little crazy.

the 2 players you mentioned are both hitting .300 or higher.

Its the 3-4-5 in the line-up that scares me. Not one of those guys has a batting average over .200
