Lilly owns them. Today is definitely a good fade day. Suprisingly though, Moehler has been adequate against the Cubbies.

True EP. Moehler pitched pretty damn well against them on a couple of occasions last season, and he had a decent spring. If it wasn't Moehler (or Roy O), I might have entertained the run line.

Bateman, I agree that taking Roy O on the + moneyline is probably the smarter play today, but then nobody has ever accused me of being smart

I hope you are aware that the Astros were +22 units last year. They started off the season 3-7 for their first 10 games then turned it around. The lines were deflated all season and they will be again this year. Lets hope I don't lose my posting privileges for giving my opinion. Being from Houston I have to go for my team. Good luck!

I'm a lifelong fan, mathes. Our family moved to Houston in '62 when the team was just beginning. Just a very pessimistic fan. And I'm certain you're right, that at some point this year fading them every game will send you to the poor house.

You say you're from there, no longer in the area? We moved away for good -- from our little burbhouse in Sweet City on the SW side -- seven years ago and landed here in the bee-youtiful Texas Hill Country.

Sure, I'd prefer Houston was 6-0 instead of 1-5. But they busted my heart enough over the past 47+ seasons that there's not much left to break now. Not to mention, I've seen these slow starts get turned around before. Have only played the two with the asterisks by them. Really just wanted to keep a thread going on my guys to see how the season goes on the betting boards. I'm sure that in time, they will take money from my pocket
