I just came across this thread and I find it very intriguing. I'm just wondering what is the record of this system so far this year? And what is the highest chase needed to come away with a win? Also has anything been thought of to maybe cover your butt on this by betting a little on the huge dog in case they pull off an upset? Or maybe doing that wouldn't be worth it because it would eat into profits?

I hope you guys get this c bet, but I wouldn't be feeling 100% confident about the win, let alone the RL with Vazquez against Scherzer. Vaz has been giving up some runs recently... All the best for you guys chasing.

If you play a four-game chase, I think the record is 68-1 with five series going four games. If you play a five- or six-game chase, I think the record is 68-0 and the longest is one E wager.

Please note that some of my games are different that what has been posted. I use Pinnacle's opening lines. Also the dates I have played are not inclusive. The dates I started or stopped or went on holidays play a role in my records.

July 9- Oct 2nd
46-0 including a 7 game chase. Was betting 76 units to win 67 on the G game for a 1 unit profit. Or you could say I had 142 units on the line for a 1 unit profit.
11% ROI on total bet. 21% return on min bankroll

2010
April 9 - June 22
38-0 with an E chase. 18.5 bet to win 15
July 21 to Aug 15
16-0 with a C chase pending
My YTD
54-0 20% ROI

The key is avoiding the 6 game chase. You are better off always having 2-4 game chases than winning a lot in a row and then hitting a 6 game chase. In then end you may end up with more units in the latter but you'd need a larger bankroll to do it.

I played this system to Oct 2nd last year.
It's common hearsay that you shouldn't bet baseball in September. The system won 14 more times from Sept 1 to Oct 2 but also had a 7 game chase and a 4 game chases.
I am considering playing unit mid-Sept this year.

What about largest road favorite? 2 schools of thought here. 1) Likely to get better odds on the run line. 2) Game ends when home team wins by 1 and that is a loss even though they won. Road team keeps scoring no matter what so they can get a 2+ run lead. Only downside is home team gets last AB always.

I'm playing a four-game chase this year, so Tuesday night was season loss number 2 and I'm back to an A on Wednesday with St. Louis. This system is damn profitable, however, so I'm not complaining. I'll make up for my losses over the last four days with no problem.
