I've given up trying to figure out the Pirates -- or expecting them to win. They are regressing as expected from last year's fluke run when they won a ton of close games. None of them can hit. Their plate discipline is awful. Plus, Volquez is Volquez. Who knows with that guy.

As for the Braves, they're pathetic. How can major league players strike out so much is be fine with it. It used to be embarrassing to strike out and now guys do it multiple times a game like it's nothing.

I hope you heeded my warning about running very hot or very cold. This is a prime example and I don't really know why. It's not like I cap games differently. I followed up a run of +30U in less than a week by losing 20 of it right back. Cleveland has the A's on the ropes early, Kazmir gets tossed, and the Oakland bullpen completely shuts them down in long relief. Texas and Toronto are 2-2 in the 8th when Reyes hits a completely fluke bloop double down the line to score the winning run. And we all saw the ATL/StL bunt controversy.

Hot and cold streaks are bound to happen. That is why your money management discipline is so crucial. I hope you agree with me on this, but sports betting should be about surviving the season-long grind rather than just trying to hit the jackpot quick and easy. You sized your units at the point where you can withstand these streaks and still feel comfortable grinding it out with more plays. I think that is a lesson many of us need to learn first and foremost before any handicapping angles or strategies. Ironically, this is one of those concepts that fit the "you won't know not to play with fire until you've been burned" scenario. I myself have barely learned the lesson...

St. Louis is finally starting to get their shit together so I'm not so sure this would be a good time to go against them.

Hopefully the Cards get on a nice run with all the home games they have coming up.

Yea they starting to have much better abs of late, still think they seriously lack power so they have to string hits together to score. Aksi If wonif he can continue getting on base that would certainly help make up for it. Think it safe ti say they get 3-4 runs today, braves hit lefties decent and until proven otherwise i expect head case garcia to have a meltdown inning at some point where he gets tagged for a few runs at least, he on pitch count too so if he not efficient good chance garbage ass maness in 5th or 6th. Number seems a run or 2 low even w these offenses.
