i actually like that better than gm over considering yanks fielding washed up players and minor leaguers plus the tb kid is kinda a unknown..5d just hasnt came out with tt's yet.. honestly i think tb might be worth a small play as well considering CC has been their bitch the last 2 years..

ill tell ya a interesting gm to cap is the muts/phils gm, ive spent last 45 minutes on that gm, 1st i thought i was gonna be looking at the over and now im close to playing muts which i didnt expect. tough gm, philly has crushed gee but gee has had the potential and is pitching up to it the last month so i just found incredibly interesting to try and determine whether i thought phils just liked hitting this guy or were they gonna see a whole new man?

tb/nyy ov 8 -105..honestly dont understand this number and it appears it may fall if anything but im happy here..if i didnt feel like i was being set up id prob go 2x but cant get over the fact that this seems really low for a day gm at this bandbox with the wind blowing out! i understand this nyy team isnt exactly offensive juggernauts with their ragtag group of replacements but i still think they capable of doing at least a little damage to a kid making his second start, not gonna claim to know much about kid pitching for tampa, he did have a nice start vs the fish but even in that gm he didnt make it 6 innings and from what i see he rarely does so in the minors either so i cant expect him to go long in a gm surely there will be some nerves...more importantly tampa hasw been raking left handed pitching hitting .284 and scoring 5.5 per 9 innings against them, cc is no exception as rays have touched him up quite often this yr and last. this season cc has went 14 innings vs tb allowing 12 runs. 15 hits 3 walks and 5 bombs all at the trop which i think wee can agree is not the hitters paradise yankee stadium is. he has lost 6 of his last 7 starts vs the rays going back to last season, think it fair to say the rays have cc number right now. seriously considering a play on tampa but really not sure what the rookie gonna bring to his 1st start in yankee stadium but gotta think he at best goes 5 innings allowing 2-3 runs which would leave spanks a lot of time to work on the pen while cc will go deep even if he is giving up runs..i think tampa gets 4-5 runs in this gm and i think yanks can get to 4 themselves which is all we need here..

fish+139 (again)..ok i know gotta be a little nuts to expect the stinking marlins to win 3 in a row against the world champs but hear me out.. 1st off this is just a continuation of fading zito at home that i started doing a few starts ago, i know his home/day numbers but if you look throughout his career there is nothing drastic about his home/road splits to think this season has been anything more than a aberration that should correct itself and in fact he hasnt been that good at home his last few, ill take turner over zito all day whether they playing at at&t or on the moon so chalk up pitching matchup to the fish , i know mia struggles vs lefties but they have been better as you would expect since the return of stanton and morrison. matter of fact with these guys back hitting 3/4 for the fish id argue right now at this moment with all the sf injuries fish have the better lineup slightly.. believe it or not fish have won 9 straight gms at At&t which is crazy but tru, so give me +137 with the healthier team playing better ball right this minute at +137, names on the jerseys be damned..

muts+119 1.5x ...seriously thought i was looking at this gm to play the over but while going over it a unexpected turn took place to where i like muts at this price.. the over lean had to do with the sick numbers phils had vs gee and his overall struggles that he has had in phi, while that all true it also true that gee is pitching like a much different man than he was the previous times these teams hooked up, the last month he has been on a roll and pitching much more like the pitcher his peripherals have suggested he could be the last few years. he ended may by just taking apart the yankees, moved on to shut done the nats, then pitched a very impressive 6.2 innings of 1 run ball against the best offense in baseball (stl), we all know what happened to him last time out, he dominated the braves for 8.1 innings before giving up a walk off 2 run hr. in this 4 gm stretch he has struck out 32 and only walked 4 and 2 of those walks were against the cards who work abs better than anyone. the dude is pitching great, the muts have caught a little bit of fire and they facing a kid that while started strong has been trending the wrong direction.. bottom line is gee is pitching like a legit number 1 right now and is being priced as a dog against a marginal young kid who is a 5th starter at best..sign me up..

changeup his best pitch is worrisome..vinny you have any numbers like percentage wise he throws fastball to offspeed? id say if he throwing hard and throws more than 50% fastballs cards will prob do some damage.. no matter what tho i think the price tag steep..

ive been looking at a bunch of stuff, seems like he has gotten his control much better since coming up for that 1 start and going back down, his k to walk rate vastly improved but i mean wtf that mean against maybe the best lineup in baseball? i saw he kinda struggles with right handed bats which gonna be a issue for him seeing how cards have a bunch of righties..i mean i dunno bro it not like this easy w/o never seeing him or anything, like when cards bring a kid up ive usually seen him and know quite a bit about him, now you just asking me to read shit and guess how or what this kid gonna be or do..no clue. i mean he a lefty and cards record vs lefties is not as good as that price on them would suggest, they hit like .220 vs lefties, score less than 4 runs a gm and i think have a below .500 record vs lefties on the year. so w/o knowing anything about the kid id say you paying to much for cards. no idea if they win or not but just based off their numbers vs lefties i wouldnt wanna ply that much considering i dont know jack shit about the guy they facing..

looks like someone else thinks cards too expensive cause line dropping.. i mean again really no way for me to cap it other than i can make a case that if the kid is above avg +170 prob a decent price to play tex seeing how cards have issues with lefties.. or i guess you could say cards dont lose series very often and they playing a rookie so gamble and lay the 1.5 against a guy you really dont know about trusting millar to shut tex down and cards to get to the kid? i dunno, flip a coin honestly.. i dont wanna try to give you a answer when i really dont have one..

lastros/scrubbies ov 10 +120.. wind blowing out pretty hard, both pitchers fly ball pitchers, both pitchers hr/fly ball ratio is incredibly low this yr and cant possible keep at those rates and id expect them both to go up today with ball flying at wrigley..i prefer lastros offense vs lefties and while wood has had success against them in the past all those starts were at minute maid, today think the conditions punish him for allowing so many fly balls. norris has had really good and really bad starts in chi, lots of guys hit him well and again dont think fly balls will be staying in the yard today and norris not much further down the list than wood when it comes to fly ball rate...if it wasnt for having a under loving asshole calling balls and strikes id prob go more than a unit here but he is so just sticking with 1x..
