Love Kershaw, he and Felix are the only two non-Tribe SPs that i won't fade, so i am predisposed to that play. That said, he sucks sideways at Coors. Didn't even cap that game because of that. Will give it a closer look. Have about 45 minutes. What's up with the line movement, though? Kerfax pitching the first inning righty?

Every Oswalt gm has had this movement. Some1 mentioned to me there were some big timers that been pounding him every start, guess they like him? I dunno, I mean his k/bb rate off the charts but 70% of contact against him been fly balls or liners which can't possibly translate to success at coors I wouldn't think.. Maybe over worth a looksy..

i guess you can see why alleged sharps would be all over Oswalt because of the huge gaps between his actual and advanced stats. however, that's a small sample size and an elderly guy returning to the bigs and on the bump at Coors for the first time. gimme a few minutes and/or another beer and i might bite.

Can't believe Cards/Angels stayed under. Bah.

However, there is extremely good news. I do a lot of work with the Affordable Care Act ("ACA," also referred to, generally derisively, as Obamacare). Yesterday's announcement about the one-year delay in employer penalties is huge in my world. I was staring down the barrel of a shit-ton of work relating to that over the rest of the summer and then fall, all of which will get pushed back. I still plan on exiting the bases grind sooner rather than later to shift my attention to CFB, but this will certainly give me a lot more time the rest of the summer. Haven't felt like this since i was a kid getting out for summer break. This certainly kickstarts my holiday weekend. Woot!

bummer about Tribe. gave back a little bit of what i won on them the prior three days. as Bill Clinton said famously, every day can't be sunshine. that said, Tribe is a half-game out of first on July 4th and playing some decent baseball. given my expectations after last August/September, i am thrilled.
