Backtesting hockey with the trending system (play for a win after 3 consecutive wins and play for a loss after 3 consecutive losses) the record for this season would have been 177-1. The one loss went to 7 games.

You should find wallco's gold. I am pretty sure this has already been tested, but he does it where after 3 W's play for a loss via ML or PL depending on Favorite or dog. Has some pretty big unit bets, but over a 10 year backtest I believe its well into the green. Just gotta make sure you manage your money as usual.

My new recommended unit size is .25% or 1/400th of a bankroll. This allows enough comfort I think to follow some of these systems. BTW how far into the green are you now? 30 units 50 units? I am glad you kept this thread going after after 2 losses. Shows nice discipline for a six game chase.

I will give you guys a summary of what is happening. BATLFM=Bet Against a Team that Loses by Five or More. So the teams listed are all teams that have lost by 5 or more. We bet against the teams listed under the BATLFM system. The Shutout system is very similar except we are betting against a team that has recently been shutout. So the teams listed under Shutout, we are also betting against. Trending is quite simple aswell. Chase a team on a 3-game win streak for 6 games and fade a team that is on a 3-game losing streak for 6 games. All of the systems are played up to 6 games. If after 6 games you don't win, that is considered a loss.

Thats right, just stick with the system regardless of who is playing who. With Milwaukee, they hit a 9 game streak so basically every 3 game streak including the win starts a chase. So 3,6,9,12... and so on would start a new chase. So last night they lost we are still chasing so that's why they are gm 2. So every 3 games won we start betting that they will win 1 of the next 6 games. Cool?

I just saw the BATLFM system on another forum and it never had a losing season. I think the most losses it had was 3 one yr. Someone used to do the shutout system on here but I cant find it and just started it here. I followed it for the last couple of seasons and made money. The BATFLM system was backtested for 4 yrs if I remember correctly. If I find the link I will pass it along.

I bet on both teams to stay in line with the system. And you only chase the Brewers everytime them win 3 games in a row. The chase starts over. And yes if Cincy doesnt win one of the next 2 it is a loss.
