ARI -108 (5.4U to win 5)
CIN -105 (3.15U to win 3)
KC +125 (3U to win 3.75)
CHC +110 (2U to win 2.2)
SF +140 (1U to win 1.4)
MIA RL +100 (1U to win 1)

Really like all three of these teams this year, and we're getting them at terrific numbers right out of the gate against overrated, overvalued opponents. Royals could be a darkhorse in the weak AL Central. D'Bags had a ton of expectations and fell flat on their face, now they've been left for dead and will respond in a big way against a descending Cardinal squad. Reds are a better overall team than the Angels, and they're in an NL ballpark at virtually even money.

Not all of my plays will be multiple units; just like these three a lot. Might add Oakland later. Still checking into it.

I'd also be careful backing Detroit today. Their bullpen is a disaster at the end unless you have faith in Coke and the bunch. Also, it's going to be around freezing in Minneapolis today. Not many runs scored.

Going big early I see. Love the braves tonight. I'm a braves homer and most struggles they have had against hamels were with lefty heavy lineups. Kind of interested to see BJ and Justin in the middle of freeman and heyward.

Ton of big money on Boston. You don't see a line move like that in a Yanks/Red Sox game very often -- especially with CC on the hill at home. I don't blame Boston backers, but no way would I lock them in at the current price. I'd need +115 or better.

I also wouldn't touch Milwaukee today.

He was pretty damn good for not being "100 percent" in 2012. I see a vast improvement in his BA this year.

They don't have a closer. Rondon was supposed to be it, but he's not ready. I'm assuming they're going with Coke and possibly Benoit, but neither are long-term answers. For a contending team to be so vacant at the end of their bullpen is troubling to me.

Having hands in multiple cookie jars is my favorite part about being young and single. So much more fun. I'm posting over in mebaran's thread for the time being. i'm hoping that we can get a few guys posting in there so i can avoid having to go thread to thread every day.

I'm on KC +132, Phi +114, and Stl +103. Pretty happy to get three aces at + odds. KC will outplay CHW this year and Wainwright will be a cy young candidate. Everyone is so down on Philly now with halladay down that I'm surprised philly didn't get to +125 against such a retooled ATL team

Hate to be on the other side of StL, though I can see your angle. I just think Arizona will turn some heads this year, even though I'm not the biggest fan of Kennedy. Wish their young OF's were healthy though. I think that Eaton kid is going to be a good one.
