Sorry I'm just now getting back with y'all. I was coming back from vacation and had a live fantasy draft that went from 3:30 until 1:30 this morning. I picked Texas because I actually like Holland. He had a rough year in 2012, but I think that was partially due to injury.

I'll go so far as to say I look at current trends; I believe how "hot" a player or team is makes a huge difference in how he will perform, imo. That has to be balanced out by projection systems. There are lots out there written and studied by guys (and girls) much smarter than me. I'll give each a 50/50 balance and project a theoritical winning percentage for each game.

Also, "don't be afraid of the juice".

I've been betting long enough that I'm a pretty mellow guy when it comes to watching games, even those that I have 6 and a half units on. Despite that, Frandsen just about caused me to lose my shit. At least he's on my fantasy team.

It seems like you're never out of it when betting against the Cubs and Marmol is available. I'm gonna miss that guy when he gets traded. Miami seems like a logical choice.
