Trend continues. Any pick I have, totally blows in a tie breaker.

Man there's Almagro the choke artist. I just can't ever trust Almagro so I went with Berdych.

He's playing well, actually serving a little better than Berdych - just wasn't able to make Berdych pay on his break opps and then obviously didn't play for shit in the tie break. He might wind up losing two tie breaks or a 6-4, 7-5 type set. Figured this would be tight though & if Berdych stays a notch lower ... Almagro can still swoop in.

Me and you both wow, I knew as soon as Almugro blew all those BP in the 11th game he would end up losing, I've had the worst luck recently!

Yeah, the aura of unbeatability is gone with him. Even when he wins, a lot more likely when he plays competent players to not win in straights whereas last year he was steamrolling everyone. Good for the game though. Makes Slams a tad more interesting although we know at the end of the day, it's probably still one of the big four being involved in deciding the winner/loser.

YA just clay is probably djokers worst surface.I still trust him the most on the other surfaces.

Did you guys see that serve by byrdych that did not even make it to the net.lol.

Sometimes during rallys it looks like Almagro just gives up and gives up the point.I really notice it. He just hits it out of bounds or at the net lazily.

Well there ya go, don't have to worry about the tie break now. 7-6, 6-4 going to Berdych after that break unless Almagro mails it in for 6-3.

I thought Almagro or Gasquet was going to pull an upset today, so since I didn't play Gasquet ... watch that fukk win.

almagro really should have won but he played too aggressive on the big points when berdych was making errors on his own.

never believe the term a player "should have" won when they lose in two sets.

Meh. It was a good try. His level dropped after he blew the tie break and that was that. Not overly impressed with Berdych today, but this is what good players do ... they win at the end of the day.

a match like this one is a one set match. almagro blew his chances against an uninspired berdych. if they played this match 10 times at the level showcased today then berdych loses at least 7/10 times.

Exactly like when Djoker loses a first set in a grand slam final. You still know djoker is going to win. haha.

you are right actually. dominate is too strong a word. how about he controlled most of the play and pressured berdych's serve well enough that it should have resulted in some breaks. he got a bit too greedy with his shot selection and it burned him.

btw why did almagro get angry in the first set right before the breaker? i missed the reason

The wind played more of a factor on Berdychs serve in my opinion. Don't really remember but he probably got an unforced error.

I'm not going so much with the home fact as much as I am that something sticks in my head that Wawrinka later in tournaments, especially after he's mowed down a "name" like Tipsarevic tends to play "down" to the level of competition in the next match.
