I hate waking up to financial losses, hope that one goes over. They are talking about Isner really breathing hard, hope he can hang on and take this one over.

Are you looking at this Barthel match Shari? She was a popular pick all over the boards. Of course everyone had McHale dominating but at least McHale won.

I do think Barthel wins this handily.

I used to be big on Barthel during the French and Copenhagen. I even remember posting on TI after that in some match that although I thought she'd lose, she's a scary enough player that people should curb their bets on whomever she was playing. The problem is now that although she has the momentum from Hobart, Cetkovska's not a slouch and I think that price is too ridiculous. Even if Petra's not 100% fit, she has power and at some point Barthel is going to crash. So I'm stuck because the price on her is awful and Petra may not be fully ready to go. I can't touch it. Yeah Barthel should win but not at $1.40 or whatever. No way. Vosko was the one to hit in that range today.

I saw you had Clijsters as your bet of the day on TI . Like an idiot, I talked myself out of the Clijsters handicap and she was totally dominating today. McHale and Barthel are probably not the safest players to be laying these types of handicaps in these matches.

Yeah I figured she'd kick ass but I didn't touch the handicap either go figure. I like the 1st and 2nd rounds because that's when you see severe mismatches... almost more so in the 2nd because a few players have surprisingly made it through and then they're stuck facing actual walls who have adjusted to the surface, their hotel/rental house, etc. After the 2nd though is when I roll my bets back because you just never know. Most of the randoms are gone and then you're left debating about taking $1.20 or a -4.5 handicap when you know the player can throw in a crappy set, or two, on any given day. I give major credit to those who make big money in the latter rounds. I'll never figure it out unless I lay a ton of chalk which I never will.

Anybody ever tried out system where you bet Dolgo when he loses 1st set and fade him when he wins 1st set? In theory, this should be very profitable.

I think the best Dolgo system is the match won't finish in straights. Guy seems to ditch at least one quite often. EP and I figured out last year there's no sense even taking the over because he'll often drop a set 6-0 or 6-1 and then come back to win, killing the total. Anyone who puts money on his matches deserves some sort of award of courage.

Dude who knows... he'd be up against Querrey or Tomic. One's a flakey headcase who wastes his talent, the other barely lasted 5 the other day and isn't always consistent. And then Dolgo's obviously suffering and is also a flake when he's not. Some crazy matches. The problem with fading Dolgo though is that he's immensely talented... sickest shot selection when he's firing and/or not fixing. Like I said, I just stay away. Best bet: Over 3.5.

**** Dimitrov. Looks good through 3. Tanks the end of the 4th. Calls a medicla timeout and comes out in the 5th absolute shit. Worst I have ever seen someone play a set. He acted hurt after every point but wouldn't retire. There wasn't even any rallies.

The 5th set took 15 minutes. What a joke. Killed a huge parlay of mine.

I feel pretty good about yesterday except for the Young thing. Hit my parlay. Isner won somehow. Just need this damn over for a real nice day. I think I was actually pretty disciplined yesterday in not playing too many of the sides in the 50-50 matches Almago-Dimitrov, Wawrinka-Baghdatis, etc. I probably would have lost most of them anyhow.

Oh and I forget that fukk Riba screwed what looked like an easy under yesterday by retiring.
