Istomin a favorite against Mathias Bachinger. I'm laughing at this. It's always these 'low profile' matches that are easy to handicap. One thing I've learned in Tennis is that when you see a line that looks fuckin good against a shitty player (in this case its Istomin), ya gotta jump on it. Bachingers record on hard surfaces is so much better then Istomins. Secondly, after reviewing Istoms record the past 2 weeks and against all the competitors he beat, they are all low quality opponents. Istomin has pretty much faced nobody to the likes of Bachinger in the past 2 weeks. Not to say Bachinger is such an amazing player, but compared to Istomin he's a helluva lot better. Only problem I have with Bachinger is the guy's hard court record is ALL on the Challenger level. He does not have a single main draw ATP level win on outdoor hard courts. Good a time as any for him to win. Like I said fatigue is a very possible disadvantage for Istomin, but I think the price is about right in this one. Good luck!Comment -
