Don't read much into Nishikori's win - Djokovic was pretty much banged up for most of the match. Federer might not be at his very best but at full strength should be able to take care of Nishikori just like Nadal did.

lucky to even get my money back with that ferrer -4. mahut pretty much handed the points to ferrer when ferrer was in trouble or when the game was at 30-30. can't believe i didn't play the under instead

Dravidc - I don't think the under was the play in that match either - Mahut could have easily taken a set there; just one of those matches where the odds makers are spot on. Looks like a good call on Murray, I was going to play that but couldn't pull the trigger with Chardy at home and capable of "going for broke" and hitting long enough to beat the spread.

What's your thoughts on Dolgopolov? I think that match is a true 50/50 and the value is on the crazy Ukranian?

I've almost made it a rule in my books not to bet dolgopolov unless he's playing youzhny

Haha - fair enough. I think a good rule with Dolgo is to fade him when he's a significant favourite in any smaller tournament and take him when he's a small dog in the larger tournaments. Basically - get in the mind of a match fixer!

Federer vs Tsonga O21.5

The last match-up between these two resulted in a 6-1 7-6 win for Federer. What we have to take into consideration here that Tsonga was pretty much faitgued having played a marathron match against Isner in the semis. The fact that a fatigued Tsonga was able to take Federer to a tie-breaker in that 2nd set makes me like this play even more. Tsonga is well rested this time round and I expect him to give it his all. Whilst I still think Federer takes this, I think it will be a lot tougher than the previous encounter, in possibly 2 tight sets (i.e. 6-4 7-6 type sets) or in 3 sets.
