Several things from my perspective:
#1. If Li starts off like she did against Wozniacki against Clijsters, she's buried.
#2. Li's First Slam final. LOADS of pressure here with all the talk of how she's the greatest Chinese player ever and all that. Clijsters may actually have a lot less pressure as the favorite.
#3. Clijsters elevated her level of play against Zvonareva and I'd expect it to be the same or better against someone who just beat her a few weeks ago.
Obviously Li CAN win, but I think she'd rather have seen Zvonareva here.Comment -

Well of course, but I think if she didn't beat Clijsters earlier this year - it wouldn't be quite as big a deal. Now that's going to be the focal point of the media, focal point of this match where people are going to say right off that Li can win. After Murray-Ferrer is done, I'm expecting the dog backers to start pushing this line down some once the hype starts rolling for that match.Comment -
