I've jumped on the Robson ML and just flat bet her as I refuse to lay the chalk on this pipsqueak but want to have a bet going while I watch. Cheers guys. I was sold on Mladenovic over Robson after watching her first game against Mattek-Sands. I thought she would be too strong for Robson. Wow Mahut is a really fun player to watch. Murray really had to work to win that game. A loss on my behalf but I really enjoyed the match none the less. Will keep my eye out on this fella. Murray spent too much time talking to himself and playing with his fingers lol. I based my play on Murray over Isners performance vs Starace (wierd method I have of capping games) but didn't know Isner was struggling with the heat as I didn't get to watch the game (he had to change his shirt 4 times due to the humid conditions). Had I of known this the play would have been on Mahut but they didn't televise the game. It's little bits of information like this that really help to piece togther the handicapping puzzle.

So I know ive got quite a few plays today, I usually only like to stick with 3-4 but im trying to disperse my money over a broader range of plays as I admit now my money management isn't the best. Ive already netted over $700 Australian since the start of this thread with posted plays and side plays and hope to increase at a rate of $60 to $100 per day. I went on an awesome winning streak late last year in the tennis and netted just shy of $6000 in under 3 weeks. Withdrew $4000 and admitably lost the other $2000 on 4 consectutive bad plays. I feel lines in tennis are alot better and easier to play than team based sports. Stats available are solely based on one individual rather than an entire team, hence less factors to consider than team based sports. I just quite my job on New Years so I have the extra time over the next week or so to look at stats while I take a bit of time off. Best of luck to everyone and lets make some $$$.

Hopman Cup Day 5

Ivanovic said during an interview that she was really stepping up and enjoying her game, like she had "rediscovered her passion for tennis", I feel she gets the job done today over Justine Henin at the Hopman Cup.

Following my train of thought, Hewitt defeated Bemelmans, Bemelmans defeated Golubev quite comfortably and now the play is on Hewitt -4 over Golubev. I don't think Golubev is in very good form right now and foul mouthed Hewitt will be hungry for this win.

Bemelmans won't get too far with Djokovic, I think the -5.5 is pretty safe as Djokovic is playing really well at the moment. Bemelmans will be outclassed.

My mind boggles when trying to work out Alicia Molik vs Sesil Karatantcheva. If picking I would say Karatancheva but this is a no play for me.

* Kvitiva draws Pavlyuchenkova for this matchup. After playing yesterday Pavlyuchenkova made the following statement:

"I was playing unbelievable tennis to get to 62 51, but maybe I relaxed a little bit there and Lucie started playing with nothing to lose," Pavlyuchenkova said. "It was so tough to break her in the third set, but once I did I started playing better again. Honestly, I have no emotion or energy left. I'm happy but I'm so tired." The game went for almost 3 hours.

From experience I believe Pavlyuchenkova will come out a little flat today, and with Kvitova playing good tennis at the moment I have placed a large play on Kvitova and feel very confident she will come out with a win today.

I feel Mladenovic will put up a good fight against Schiavone who has been struggling all week, but only a small play as the weather here in perth is a lot cooler and Schiavone might get some form back today. Robson is struggling, she is getting over a cold and the humid conditions all week have not helped her cause. Mattek-Sands however is in excellent form and really enjoying herself in perth, I think she can easily put Robson to rest today. Murray will be too quick for Isner who struggled to get a win against Starace the other day, while prior to that matchup murray beat Starace 7-5 6-1. Mahut has been a machine all week, with some very entertaining matches between Isner and Murray, holding his own alot better than Starace. Mahut is keen for a win and his determination will see him pull through rather comfortably. Thats my angle on todays Hopman Cup matches.

I've been thinking about Mladenovic vs Schiavone and decided to make this a no play. There are pros and cons for both players and I feel the money is best spent elsewhere.
