Everyone is tired in this heat and in a 3 set match. But you don't see Fish acting like a little girl and showing it every point

If this match was about 5 days ago you think Fish would even win 6 games the whole match? Maybe if it was a month ago, but the last 2 weeks Murray is back to his old self again.

Remind me tomorrow to pull up the matches this guy referred to. I'm almost positive he was talking about this last week and referenced matches from the past few months. His whole point was that he's made great money betting 2-1 on either player because if it's a decent opponent, Murray will more often than not tank the 2nd. How do you go from a tiebreak in the 1st, to a 6-1 2nd, to holding serve in the 3rd? These aren't women.

I completely agree with you about the second setters. He's playing some kind of mind game there, or betting on it, or something.. But he really is somewhat tired. You think Murray would be struggling with Mardy Fish if he was 100% like he was a week ago against Nadal? Come on Shari. We are talking about Fish.

anyway lets hope Fish stays focused here for you guys, I think we might see a tiebreak 3rd set.

Oh, I genuinely believe he's tired. That's a big part of the reason why I faded him yesterday. I just think he conveniently lets that fatigue show when it strategically suits him ie the 2nd set. More power to him because it obviously pays off but it's friggin annoying because you know everyone's damn tired, especially in that heat. I'd like to think a player of his calibre is better than silly games like that but obviously not. Could you ever see Nadal or Federer tanking a set?

And if this Fishfinger doesn't finish off this game I'm going to scream!!

could never see it. especially at a major. you would never see it. the difference to me is that Nadal and Fed are champions, all they care about is winning titles. They already have the money. They're concerned about where their names end up in the history books.

Oh I still believe. It'd just make me feel a lot better if Mardy could finally jump on Andy's 2nd serve and stop going for 2 aces in a row. Each time he manages an ace at a great time, he seems to blow his next serve.

Ooh -just saw a good stat. Fishfinger was 9-1 in hardcourt tiebreaks in the last year before losing that one in the 1st set. Murray 4-5. I feel more hopeful now!
