Yeah that to me seems like a good one. I've parlayed her and Nadal first set. Lifts the price a bit.

I was thinking of taking Nadal winning 3-1 for like +330 for insurance purposes but not sure if we'll need it. Might just be wasting moneY?

I was thinking about that too. But he's only ever taken one set off of him and that was in Paris on a hard court. I can't see Nadal letting that happen at the French. Plus this fvkker is a smirking punk who didn't win against Verdasco - Verdasco basically conceded the match. I'm not hedging it. Maybe I'm being stubborn but screw it - I'm even starting to consider Nadal -7.5 now

Well, the less said about the Federer match the better. Can't believe how badly he played (and conversely how well Soderling played)!!
But today is a new day and going to go back to my last tennis winner and back Melzer +5.5 games. I think he can keep this close. Novak has dropped 3 sets already in 4 matches and I've a sneaky feeling Melzer can at least take him to 5 sets if not win straight up.
Also going to go for Serena -3.5 games. I think her power will be too much for Stosur although I can see it possibly going to 3 sets but in the end I think Serena will just have too much. Just in case the same scenario happens as to Henin, going to have a tiny stake in the prop of "Serena to win the 1st set and lose the match" @ +800 just as a saver.
There's nothing in the Nadal match that is any value at all. 3-0 set win is @ -250, handicap is -8.5 and the total games is set at 29.5 at my book so i'm going to leave that match well alone.

Well I expect him to keep it at least competitive but I honestly can't see him beating Djokovic in a 5 setter unless Djokovic throws out one of his famous shockers or is sick, although it appears his allergies are getting a bit better now. I took Melzer with the handicap but as much as I love dogs, I just can't back him on the ML in this one. But it's not like it's impossible for him to win.

Yeah true but he is playing some awesome tennis thats whats getting me at the moment. I think djokovic was there for the taking last game but gaby didnt finish him off, I'm on the handicap with ya and might have a small parlay and end it with melzer to throw up some odds and hope he gets up

I personally wouldn't rely on Djokovic in a parlay but that's only because he's unpredictable. It's most likely a safe bet though as long as he doesn't have a mind snap. Best of luck!

Appreciate your opinion Shari. Newbie here but been following this thread for some time now. Thanks for your plays. I was thinking of going with Melzer +6 games handicap instead of Djokovic winning it. I really think that this game can go far especially if Melzer plays well. I am liking it and same goes with the over in this game. Djokovic has lost 1 set in the last 3 of his 4 matches and playing with Melzer is not easy to win straight sets.

Well, I took the +6. Exactly for the reasons that you mentioned. If Djokovic does break down then you're still a winner and if the match is as competitive as most feel it will be, then you have a good shot at hitting your bet with a better line than just the Djokovic ML! I'm glad you decided to pop in and say hi!

If she's aggressive with Serena right off the bat, then yeah I think she has a chance. If she's passive and plays defensively in the first set then I think she'll be screwed. Even if she loses the first set, she needs to keep hammering at Serena on every point possible. But her coach said that she'll be going for a winner on every play and as long as she makes more winners than errors, she'll be good. Clay isn't Serena's best surface and Sammy is 18-2 this year while Serena's 8-2. To me, she's worth a shot. Hell, even Serena said Sam has a shot to go all the way here. Best of luck whatever you play!
