Yeah that's not strapping - just kinesio tape or whatever the heck it's called. He usually has it on his shoulder too. A lot of players are addicted to that stuff ie Li comes to mind. From what I remember it's used to stimulate the area and almost acts like a Red Bull of energy to the spot so even though a player isn't normally currently injured, they use it to ensure a previously injured area is functioning at 100%. It seems some of these players just whack it on for ages after they've been injured so I think a lot of is it psychological to be honest although it obviously does help.

I'd just take the handicap. I've been kind of betting big again this week to recoup last week's losses so I'm sticking with my credit book that doesn't offer many handicaps on the women but if it did, I'd be on it. I honestly don't think Flavia's got the weapons to win this one today although I've been wrong about this pusher Wozzy many times before.

Ummm no. The joke's on you - the picks were deleted because they were switched from dollar amounts to unit sizes as I didn't know you could post in units. Then again if you actually read this thread instead of merely coming in and bitching at me when you feel you need attention, you'd know that since there was a discussion in here about me doing it.

Djokovic owns Berdych recently, but Djokovic has not been consistent this week. I would go Berdych on the handicap, but not at 4. Need at least 4.5.

I don't think it will. Books seem to be pretty hardcore about keeping it on that #4 in these sort of matches. It should already be 4.5 because if you look at the WTA match with Wozniacki-Bartoli. ML there is Woz -475 and handicap is 5.5. Djokovic is -435. That should not be a 1.5 difference.

The men's handicaps in general I think are bullshit. 4 for Berdych/Djokovic and then the price is more than double on Fed-Gasquet and it's just 5.5.?

i watched most of her match against petrova. same old woz.

bartoli has the guns if she brings the game she has brought this tournament to date.

maybe i'm missing something, because from what i read about woz v pennetta (didn't watch), she was something special. so maybe i'll be kicking myself for not watching it.

anyway, i've taken 0.5x on the ML and 1x on the +5.5. unless she has a brain explosion, this should be close. the o/19 is also a nice play IMO, so i think i'll take it too lets hope woz doesn't steamroll her so i don't get steamrolled too i just don't see the pusher doing it.

I'm also on Collingwood -23.5 - but this is crapshoot pre-season, so i dont even know why i'm betting it.

i'm off to the pub now and hopefully come home with a bit more cash from footy and watch wozniacki lose thats the plan.

At this price, why not? Put a small bet on Barloli and then will live bet. Hopefully she'll have a good start at least. Again, you never know that to get from her. She won their last two meetings though.
