#8752... at this pace there's a chance even +6 could be endangered.
Hopefully, they both stay healthy... and Alex pulls this one off!Comment -

the soderling game (from following slam tracker) is like a friggin' women's game. no-one can hold. brain fades. massive unforced errors etc.
hope you guys cash your handicap and i cash soderling/kvitova/zvonereva. i don't care whether soderling retires or loses, as i booked the bet at pinny anyway. i think you guys are pretty sweet on the cover.Comment -

#8755Not sure but it's a bit worrying. I thought he'd overcome most of his mental issues but the way he keeps looking at his box is a bad sign. I'm cheering for him to win for those of you who stuck him in a parlay and EP's future bet as long as Dolgo covers for me. But this is what I meant about matches being closer as we go deeper into the tournament. Very dangerous to expect big faves to automatically win. And even if they do, most will have a much harder time of it. Not worth touching these puny odds - you have to stick so many in a parlay just to make it worth it.Comment -

#8760ouch :/ don't tell me you laid the -800 or whatever it was on its own?
after Soderling went a break up in the last set, i put a cheeky hedge on benesova at $9.00 to cover my liability + a bit more. she's up a break in the first!! (won't win though... very wishful thinking, but hope vera chokes - then i won't feel bad about soderling either!).

#8766Just backed cilic for 1.5 x ...Could not pass up those odds. Cilic been playing good tennis and watching nadal play against tomic, he did not look like his absolute dominant self. Risky play but just playing with my profits. Opinions? GL everyoneComment -

They're best friends which is a worry since I'm convinced Fed gave him some advice to get through. However, I just said to a friend that you can give all the advice in the world but if you're not good enough to execute, it means nothing.
Fed hasn't looked invincible. But this will be much different than facing a player on the decline. If the line is juicy enough though I'll put $50 on him because even though I loved Stan here tonight, I honestly didn't think we'd continue to consistenly see shots like that.
You said they were best friends but I wouldn't say that.. Did an australian commentator say that? However they are friends, they won the Gold together in Beijing, they played in the Davis Cup and Federer gave him some useful tips when Wawrinka came on the ATP Tour. Now that Federer decided to stop playing the Davis Cup, Wawrinka has the responsibilty to keep the team in the World Group almost all by himself. Our team finally lost last september and we were relegated and there is no indication that Roger will help us get back in the World Group this year... Asked about Federer not playing, Stan said he had tried multiple times to convince him to play and win the Davis Cup for Switzerland, but he stopped trying since he noticed it was a lost cause.. He didn't say anything bad on Roger but he clearly appeared disappointed.
And I'm not so sure Roger gave him tips on how to beat Roddick, I mean Roddick is not terrifying anymore on the court and Stan took another step with the help of his coach Lundgren who coached Federer at his beginnings, Safin and Baghdatis so Lundgren probably has all the tips Stan needs to beat the good players..
And another thing about the relationship between the two, they didn't invite each others for their wedding last year.. http://gototennis.com/2009/12/20/sta...edding-photos/
And right after his win over Roddick, a swiss-german reporter even asked him directly if they are friends that was strange but not that much since it appears they are not that close finally. Well, Stan just said they get on well and that was it..Comment -

#8771Sinner - I'm not watching the lines as I'm out right now. Not even sure what's going on with the matches at the moment. If Raonic hasn't started, maybe jump on the over.
Swiss - the best friends info was from a mate of mine who is a coach on the tour. But I probably exaggerated a bit - he said Stan is as close of a friend as Roger has as he doesn't have many male buddies. Regardless, after I lived in Switzerland, I became rather fond of Wawrinka so I hope he does well against Fed. Thanks for the post.Comment -

#8773Shari; Raonic wins he first set 6-4at least if he loses, the over almost certainly hits. he's playing amazing though. i got on rather late at $4.43. was that a big drop from where it was at anyone?

#8776I was thinking your late line was just fine actually. I took a half unit on most of today's big underdogs as soon as Pinny prices popped up, so wouldn't bang head too hard over the buck difference..Comment -

#8778still a decent line, but $1.00 would equal $50 profit if he wins (have 0.5x on him). That'd be nice. i assume i would have got better value on the +6 too. that was juiced to all buggery when I got it.Comment -

Domestic - I'm staying away from the Nadal match and really don't have a clue what's going to happen. I'd probably lean the over though but I'm pretty shit at totals.Comment -
