Jesus Christ Pironkova? Hasnt played in 3 years and got a protected ranking spot I think due to having a child. Now is killing it.

I don't follow tennis much but from what I'm hearing Djok's default is standard. Any thoughts?

I thought they should have let him continue. I understand that if you hit a ball in frustration you are taking a chance but clearly was unintentional with zero intent to hit anyone. Just my opinion. Hate to see someone exit the tournament in that fashion. Either way an interesting way to lose a Djok future on the tournament.

I will have some French open plays it has just been very hard for me to keep up with all these sports I actually spend a lot of time capping games and when I’m trying to cap MLB, NFL, College Football, NHL, and tennis. Some sports have to take a back seat for a little while.

Same way I wanted to take Juvan but chickened out. I was afraid Kerber's experience might stand in Juvan's way.

I saw her play in Cincinnati last year and she has a very impressive baseline game. Very physical game, but tough on her body, which I think is why she’s had trouble with injuries. Like so many women, her serve is her weakness. With the diminished importance of the serve on cay, it might turn out to be a good surface for her.

Even though I like her, I couldn’t play her against Vondrousova. Vondrousova is a total yo-yo. She can beat very good players and lose to very mediocre players. Just never know what game she’s going to bring.

very good info. I agree with you. And ultimately that’s why I decided against playing her last min. I got caught up worrying about which vondrousova was going to show up. Hindsight is 20/20 but looking back i am highly annoyed I didn’t play Swiateck. Appreciate the information. Feel free to comment and voice opinions in the future. I try to follow this stuff the best I can but I also try to follow a lot of sports. And undoubtedly that results in me missing things. It’s one of the great things about twitter/forums/websites. People that follow teams, players, certain leagues zone in and can usually provide some extra information in their area of expertise. Best of luck!

I love Bubilk's game. He's such a unique player. That said, he's one of the players on my list of never playing on him as a favorite and never play against him as a dog. He can play up and he can play down, just one of those type of players, hence the reason I put him on that list. I'll be rooting for him though. I'd like to see him advance.

The Sasnovich play is interesting. Garcia had a really tough year last year, but seems to be getting things back together. It's a pretty good price on Sasnovich, given that Garcia is not yet proven to be back to her previous form.

Good luck. I don't play much when it comes to clay. I love watching clay court tennis, I think it's the most entertaining surface as a spectator, but I've never done well with capping it.

Didn’t see the match. Apparently it was the egg laying Bublik that showed up. He isn’t very mentally tough, so losing the long first set tiebreaker probably did him in. He has a lot of talent, but the goofball in him sometimes makes it hard for him to dig in to win tough matches.

yep lost a tough first set tiebreaker I pretty much stopped watching after that. Knew it was likely a swing and a miss.

its a tough surface to cap for sure. I thought it was a good spot. Figured I was in trouble after the first set tiebreaker loss. Nothing much to say other than I was clearly wrong. Hope sasnovich can find a way. I had it closer to a coin flip so more of a price based play. Not a good start to the day tennis wise. So hard to keep up with everything considering I’m a massive baseball fan and trying to cap all this stuff and busy time of work. Ugh. Best of luck in the future!
