at pinnacle, nadal to win 3-1 is +242, so if you hedge with that with an equal wager as what you had +300,
you will either win $42 or $100 on a 100 dollar wager for each wager. if soderling wins or if nadal wins in 5 sets,
youre screwed. in other words, your hedging opportunities are not good. you made a bad bet, and i told you this way before the french started

If I lose it will be a unit well worth the risk.

So you could make approximately 13% profit if you hedge with betfair.

The unit I layed down in that prop means absolutely nothing to me. Afterall it was made 2 weeks ago and it's "money forgotten." My play for Sunday will not be influenced at all by this prop.

You folks might laugh but I couldn't care less. When Nadal won and got all emotional, I did as well! I love his fight!

Great job on the bet TB!!!!

It's always nice to hit those, but it seems sweeter somehow when you took so much flack for making the bet in the first place.

With Federer out of the way, Nadal was winning it 4 max. Very nice call.

please. nadal is 4-0 versus fed here with a total sets record of 12-3 versus him. fed would have gotten rolled

pride doesnt help you when the other guy is so dialed in. did you see the french final 2008 when roger lost the last set 6-0 after losing the first 2 sets? he totally quit. it was obvious to anyone who watched it. i like roger but you need to chill out and wake up, he his on the back end of a great career and it is going to head down the mountain now and people will pick him off who have no business doing so, kind of like soderling did last weekend

Hoopster, you are living in a fantasy world.

Yes I watched that 08 final and that would never ever happen again. I will be the one laughing when Federer wins 1-2 of the next 3 majors.

Now that he has the record and his babies, there's no need for him to stay out there and risk embarassing himself when he starts to get beaten by players he would've wiped the court with a year or 2 ago. Wish a book had odds on the year of Fed's retirement so I could have a little bit of action on it.
I still stand by what I said a month and a half ago but I'm hoping he does it sooner rather than later for his own sake.

Oh please, Federer is not done. No he's not the "old" Federer. He's had to adjust, like all the great ones do as they get older. He's a different player than five years ago, but still great, and I'd wager he wins at least one more major, and likely several more.

Obviously he's not beating Rafa at Roland Garros if Rafa is 100%, but no one else is either.

Hoopster I never said 21 I said Fed will win 3-4 more before he retires.
he has 16, so you think he'll finish with 19-20? you did say before the french that "only nadal will challenge him for the next 10-12 slams" or something like that. maybe you just say 10 slams, but then soderling just beat him at the french. if you think no one other than nadal will challenge him on a hardcourt after del potro beat him in last years us open then youre not following the game as much as i am dude

Hoopster guys like Del Potro peak early and then its downhill for a few years. These guys will win 1 major throughout their career and be satisfied with it.

No one other than Nadal will challenge him for the next 10 slams, I said it and I'll say it again. Just like I said no one will challenge Nadal for the next 10 slams except Fed, and no one will. Even Murray and Djok will only win 2 majors each before they retire.

Hoopster do you want to make a friendly Wager with me that Fed wins 1 of the next 3 slams and I will give you 2:1 odds?
