Kohlscriber vs Berdych. Normally these Conditions and the matchup favors Berdych However, Berdych is coming off a long injury and will be very rusty. As long as Kohlscriber is ready to go he probably wins in straights.

Good luck. Personally I think Berdych wins. He might be a little rusty, match-wise, but he have been training very hard lately, and I think he wants this more. Berdych likes the conditions in Doha way more than Kohlschreiber as you mentioned yourself, and that is actually a huge advantage for Berdych. He will get so many more free points on serve than Kohlschreiber, and his playstyle is well more suited for the surface and conditions in Doha than Kohlschreiber. I have no idea why the odds is as high as 2.40 on Berdych. Yes, he havent played an official match for half a year, but he only stopped with tennis for a month, before getting back to training and should be well prepared.

Thanks for the insight... the odds seem to be all over the place early on here. I have always liked Berdych. I guess i thought by the odds that Berdych would be all rusty

The start of the season is always the most tricky, as you can know all the world about tennis, but nobody really knows where the players stand form-wise, perhaps not even the players themselves. The first rounds of any tournament can be hard enough to predict, and that mixed with it's a new season after that one break a year they get, it doesnt get much tougher to predict.

Murray and Kyrgios is pretty straight forward. Both guys playing opponents with Average first serves. Kyrgios (if he cares) should be able to serve his way to a win as this is a fast hardcourt. Murray I expect is ready this time around. Duckworth is ok, but Even if Murray plays top 50 tennis he should be fine.

Kokk and Tsonga both have big serves. I expect the holding of serve to be a trend here. Should be three sets. Both guys trying to boost their ranking now so effort should be there
