Djokovic - Roddick OVER 39.5 -122
Djokovic had 41 games in his 3-1 win over Baghdatis. This game will have at least 2-3 tiebrakers and even with a 3-1 win of either players it can cash.

I like Djokovic with the win in this 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and Vera Zvonareva over Marion Bartoli!!!!! I think Marion Bartoli luck is going to run out. Great victory the other day but not today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like it, nice spot. Aside from the Baghdatis match, Djokovic also lost concentration vs Delic and dropped one. With Roddick's serve, it's hard to imagine this being straights.
That's an average of 10.38 games/set, very high indeed. If it goes four sets, highly likely the over cashes imo.

A little worried about the Bartoli pick, but I reckon she can parlay her big win over Jankovic to a victory over Vera, who she's had trouble with in the past.

Have to say, I dislike intensely betting such low odds, but struggling to see how Roddick wins this. If he can't beat Djokovic at the (newly speeded-up) US Open last year, on even slower courts he's toast. Putting this at 75-25 or so.
More interested in tomorrow, the odds on Nadal-Simon made me lmfao (sorry I hate text speak, but the phrase is spot on here). +850 for Simon?? When his game matches up so well against Nadal? When he beat him in Madrid? When Nadal has _never_ beaten a top 12 player in a hard court slam? (Gonzales yesterday was the 13th seed, his best ever result). I've lumped on this, and will hit the 3-1 correctscore when those come out as well (maybe +2000?). The only concern for me is whether it's a day or night game - if the former Nadal's energy advantage comes into play. However Nadal's hard court losses tend to be fairly comfortable, 3-1 or 3-0, so it won't matter massively.
Normally at these sorts of odds you're thinking it depends on the favourite to have a horrible off day to lose. Here rather it's if Simon plays at his best, I don't think Nadal can match him.

You should be. Look at the stats. Bartoli is smoke & mirrors my friend. She'll have boosted confidence, but Zvonareva should deal her lost 7 in 8 tries against her in my book.

Heard that last year, at the US open and Aussie Open :-) Crushes various crap opponents, then loses to the first decent one he meets. Same every year.

Definitely an awesome price on Simon, but I think a bit of a sucker bet personally. Remember, Nadal was having all sorts of leg issues late in the season and they really cropped up at the tourney where Simon beat him in the third set tie break. Not to suggest Simon has no shot at pulling off a huge upset nor would I want to back anyone at the price Nadal is getting - I just think you've got a healthier Nadal & a guy who knows he's got an even better shot at getting to the final here with Murray gone. I think Nadal wins in 4.

Djokovic tonight and Nadal will win Australian Open so don't bet against him.
I would bet Del Potro but they are playing the late session so no disadvantage for Fedx so no play here.

i cant see how simon can beat nadal in the form he has been showing, and we all know, grandslam is play the favorite or dont play at all. there is a reason that 7 out of 8 top seeds are still playing. and it took verdasco who has been playing out of his mind since beginning of the year to beat Murray. i would be approaching most of the remaining games from over/under angle, hopefully would be able to find some weak lines there.
and it terms of upsets all my numbers tell me that roddick might pull the upset and at over +200 might be worth the risk for a small play.
I know I'm crazy here but put 1/2 unit on each of these dog's
Roddick +200
Del Potro +350
Bartoli +210
Dokic +250
BTW- Nadal will win this year...people forget he was not healthy last year and this year didn't play in the Davis Cup Finals so he's rested, healthy, and dominating....

Maybe so, I won't be taking Nadal though and probably passing that game. My crosshair is set on a WTA match that I might have to take a bank loan out to get the desired liquidity...

Djokovic is getting cooked by the heat - his respiratory problems seem to be hitting him hard. Roddick served the 2nd set at 82%, unbreakable.

Djoko-bitch. I really can't stand this F any more. Every major he seems to find a way to look like more of a whiner. The whole thing about the fan yelling during his point was just flat out gay. Back-2-back breaks to start the 3rd. Hope Roddick finds a way to rid us of this putz.

The net gives Djoko a break :-) Second time that happened at a key point, first one was in the tiebreak, gave him a minibreak.

Is this just the typical fake Djokovic medical timeout to annoy the opposition, or is he genuinely needing a doctor?

Someone is going to die or get very close to dying from heat stroke one of these years.
